  2. I would like to know if any one has disconnected the brake lights from the exhaust brake on our 99 windsor when the floor switch is used for the exhaust break it also activates the brske lights which activates the brake ststem on the toad I would like to eliminate this as I dont want the toad brakes activating when using the exhaust brake only when actually using the brakes so far I havent looked into the exhaust brake switch to see if I can figure out which wire to disconnect of cut off was wondering if anyone had some info on this ir what they did to address this issue thanks oilcan
  3. Trevor &Laura just a thought Ilooked through your post and most of the replies I was sutprised that Tom did direct you totry and contact Az. Pete as he is very knowledgeable in HWH systems and helped me out with the issues I was having just a thought I would definitely tryto contact Az Pete
  4. Preston I would likely find a used steel wheel with the correct mounting and take it to any welding shop and have them cut the centre disk out of the wheel which will leave you a complete spacer
  5. all that is required is a 1/4 inch soacer installed between the inside wheel and the hub drum assembly my 99 windsor had the exact ssme issue woth nothing wrong with the rear suspension when I replaced the tires and noticed the wear on the inner tire I checked and found the po had installed the spacer between the duals someone mentioned the rimm is rubbing its not the rim only the rire and and the spacer will fix the ussue
  6. Mike Ihad the same issue with the passengers side on my 99 Windsor upon checking for the cause I found that someone had installed the spacer between the duals instead of behind the inside wheel which caused the inside dual to rub on the exact same bolt as your picture indicates Idont know if this is a common issue with 98/99 coaches but there have been posts regarding this on Irv2 on the monaco owners forumwhat is required is a 1/4 steel spacer between the wheels and the drum assembly

  8. I rebuilt the thomas compressor on our 99 windsor and moved it from behind the front axle into the drivers side electrical box mounted it right beside the washer reservoir re plumbed the air lines it has no quit in 8 years now
  9. our 1999 Monaco windsor which I think is almost identicle to the HR navagator is built on a roadmaster chassis either a RR8 or a RRS8 raised rail side rad 8 air bags to my knowledge HR and Monaco were never ever built on a freightliner chassis not exactly sure of the difference between the RR8 and RRS8 other than I think the RRS 8 is an alumimium strucure bolted onto a steel chassis whereas the RR8 is an all steel chassis I am sure there are others here who can help with more info but I think you will find that you have a Roadmaster chassis not a Freightliner chassis if you are not sure just look in theright front wheel well and you will find the chassis tag
  10. thanks to those who supplied these parts list and tech tips our coach is only a 99 but hopefully there will some good info in this for that year
