Yes here is my part number and picture of it and my transmission serial data plate you will need your serial number because Allison purged all part numbers pre 2016 and reasigned new ones that are hard linked to serial numbers and that is the only way to make sure you are getting the exact sensor because there are 3 on it about 18 inches apart front to back and all 3 look identical but they internally are definitely not and the closer you get to the engine the more expensive they get for some reason and also none of the new ones have the right angle top they are all straight now. The serial plate is about 6 inches to left and down front the forward most sensor.

Paul, I have a 2006 Monaco Executive which is pretty much the same coach mechanically and I had a lot of the same issues you are having including working fine in the rain. I put up with it for over 2 years and spent sadly over $4000.00 at Cummins and other rv shops trying to figure it out. MY culprit turned out to be the front allison transmission speed sensor I was shocked to find out how critical that speed sensor is and it pretty much talks in some way to every component that makes my motorhome move, slow and stop. Something had hit my sensor and cracked it and when it was hot it was apparently opening up and not functioning properly and according to Allison when it was raining the rain being thrown on it from the rear tires was keeping it cool and the crack was staying closed. There are 3 sensors on the transmission but the front one right behind the drive shaft is the most critical and most vulnerable. BTW it on cost me $186.00 for the sensor and everything from the jake brake to cruise control to vorad system has worked flawlessly since I installed to in October of last year. Not sure if this is your problem but thought it was worth mentioning.

I went down and double checked my system just to be sure and my coach has black or red 5/8 automotive heater hose with really thick walls and double braided cording in the walls sort of like 4 wire hydraulic hose. There is no pex in my system anywhere that I can find.

There is a 5/8 pex and fittings designed specifically for hydronic heating systems and boilers that is for use in radiant heat systems like concrete floors and driveways and is also used in systems with registers. It has its own fittings and is normally a dark brilliant red in color. I am an electrician by trade and talked to a plumber and a HVAC contractor I know and both know it exists but have never bought or installed it.

Well to be clear the OEM had faded and oxidized so bad and I had polished them 3 times in 5 years that anything was going to be an improvement. I will say they are a very different light output. They are brighter for sure but I was not as impressed with the high beam projection as I wanted to be, dim is a 500% improvement. We live outside Knoxville Tn and run back and forth to north Florida often to check on my wife's dad and I like to leave here in the evening and travel through Atlanta at night as much as possible because of traffic and on the interstate in and around Atlanta they did not make much difference honestly and that maybe because all the other pole lights are LED also now so there was no significant difference with the headlights on. I also notice that same issue at dusk but once it gets DARK DARK they are really crisp clear light. Yes this is the same place and from Ebay that they came from. I am still going to convert my fog lights over to LED flood/spot lights this coming spring just to get all the bang for the bucks that I can.

Yes I bought the same headlights for our 06 Executive back in April and they fit perfect and were plug and play just as advertised. The only thing I had to do was take oscillating tool and cut off a couple clips that were sticking out of the top for whatever automobile they were originally intended for.

I am an electrician and have been my whole life and I installed these outlets in our Executive but it took some patience, I am assuming it is the outlets with the phone charging ports on them, you will have to get the gray plastic PVC "handy box" from Home Depot. Welcome Noel you are getting a nice coach you just have to get used to the steering wheel being in a different position than a plane 🤣, be sure and post us a few pictures of it. Just curious since you are both pilots at work who gets to be the Dynasty pilot?

I just checked on the website and VisoneRV.com has a 2004 LaPalma parting out that the front is burned but in the pictures the ladder and all brackets are still on it

I had that happen to me a few times in our 2000 Endeavor that was on the Freightliner chassis same length and we would have to use the front leveling jacks and just barely bump the switches to the jacks and keep trying the door and it would always eventually open. I loosened the top post and lubricated it and the latch with chain saw chain lubricant in a spray can and it stopped hanging up after that I just sprayed it about every 3 months

We have found "Fresh Cab" to be the best at deterring anything from getting into ours whether it be inside the coach or underneath I put them in every bay on both sides and inside the FRB and on top of the RRB every 6 months. It is pretty strong for about 24 hours but really not bad after that. We got our first mouse in about 5 years at the FMCA rally this year in Perry Georgia but he exited while I was putting the slide out when we got home and we have not seen him since. They are too strong to put inside the coach unless you are putting it up for the winter or something like that.

Jim in my 06 Executive the viper brain is under the raised cover on the dash above the guages that has 2 screws holding it in place my wife calls it the hump. My doorbell chime is mounted under bathroom sink in hall above plumbing drain and not easy to get to unless you are really flexible and skinny of which I am neither so mine still does not work.

I appreciate all of the concern about the color of the fluid but it is actually a very light blue if you look at the picture very closely look to the right of the filter and about one inch down from the zipper on the top of the bag and you will see a light blue smudge about the size of a peanut shell that is the clean fluid. The fluid washed all the dust off of the filter when it ran down the side of the filter as I was removing it and there was a lot of dirt that was on the rubber seal when it fell off in the bag also. I was so focused on the red cone I never gave a thougt about the "dirty" fluid in the bottom of the bag but the fluid I assure you is super clean. The filter is really large and trying to make it spin inside of a zip-lock bag while covered in fluid is not easy and impossible to keep clean.

No it does not have one it is a Saur Danfoss head just the filter and a little black pop up button that no one seems to know exactly what it does

I had to have my hydraulic cooling radiator replaced about a 18 months ago and ever since we got it back the hydraulic fan has been revving up and down most of the time and almost as soon as I started it and it has gotten faster and louder in the past few weeks. I read all of your posts I could find and other forums as well but none of the suggested fixes worked for me. I new that when they changed the cooler that they did not change the filter as they did not have and could not get one because of COVID issues. I was told by an older diesel mechanic I know to change the filter and put a zip-lock bag over it and catch everything that comes out of the filter and the filter itself in the bag so I did as he instructed and when I did I found one of those red cone shaped plugs that was apparently in the ends of the cooler that was not removed at installation and got sucked into the filter and was bouncing around inside the top of the filter clogging the flow ports. I put on the new filter and started it up today and fan is running slowly and as quietly as it did before the cooler was replaced.

Wow that is great news happy to hear that you are out and enjoying it already I hope you have hundreds of thousands of miles of TFT. Headlight Depot has a set of replacement headlights that would look really good on your coach with that black stripe on the front. I thought about putting them on my 06 but it is really light on the bottom and not sure how it would look on mine. Headlight Pair Fits Monaco Executive 2005-2009 Motorhome RV Left and Right Black Halogen Headlights Pair (headlightsdepot.com) I would suggest that if you are only interested in changing bulbs that you do the LED and do local night drive before you head back out for a long trip, not all headlight bodies are designed to use LED and will just cause a large aura of light right in front of the coach and will not project the light forward nearly as much as the Halogen even though the halogen are not great they can be better than LED in some cases.

Kurt I have a 2006 Executive and I can tell you from experience some things that will happen if you remove the slide lock. It will move more than you will expect and make a lot of squeaking noises doing down the road and it will pop A LOT in mountain curves it will cause marks scratching and even gouges in the floor it will leak water during moderate rain and a lot during pouring rain and it will flood the inside going through a commercial truck wash, Blue Beacon to be exact, it will rapidly deteriorate the top seal and make all of the aforementioned things worse even faster. I know this because my cables were both broke when I bought it and did not know it as this is the first coach I have owned that has them and I put up with all these issues for 2 years before I met a man who used to work for Monaco on assembly floor and knew they were broke as soon as I told him what I was going through. Fixing them has been the best thing and money ever spent for us. I would never consider removing them ever.
