My key fob remote just clicks when I push lock or unlock but doesn’t activate the lock mechanism in the door. The outside clearance lights flash but the door lock doesn’t physically lock or unlock the door. I have tried to polish the 2 push buttons on the door frame as well as the contact surfaces but no luck. Any ideas would be appreciated. Wayne H. CountryB Posted January 8, 2020 Share Posted January 8, 2020 It sounds like the door lock actuator motor is bad. Can you remove the inner door panel for access to check the actuator.
