Gust of wind ripped along our 18 feet long awning soft connect and have to get a new one.  Anyone know of somewhere near Bartow Florida that can do this.  Also any idea as to cost. Thanks

I purchase a Carefree Soft Connect from BlueGatorCovers.com in N Ft Myers.   At the time I didn’t know if Talin was making them. I put Talin slide out toppers on from Talin, and know they make quality parts. The one from Blue Gator is a Carefree original.

Now you have two choices for your Soft Connect. Scroll down on the page in the link to see the different lengths of Soft Connects.

Price is the last equation that I look at when comparing companies. What's really important is the quality of the fabric, thread, stitching and warranty.

Stone Vos Inc is by far the best in all categories. Yes, you may have to pay more but as the say'n goes, Pay me or Pay me later.

When other companies fabric or stitching start to deteriorate in a few years and their warranty has expired your only option is to pay more money to have them done over again.

I would rather Pay more now instead of paying and paying and paying.

My favorite uncle from Syracuse NY always drummed into my head, when you do a project, do it once with high quality products and workmanship  so you don't have to go back and keep doing it over and over and over again.

JMHO!

The Talin/Stone Vos soft connects are the most rugged in the industry. The stitching is all done with lifetime Solarfix PTFE thread. The fabric is our own Migliore which is German made. It is so rugged the Marine Corps have used it at a sentry station at Gitmo because it stands up to hurricanes and tropical force winds not to mention UV rays.

We custom make our own soft connects. All the rest that are sold in the USA are made by Carefree and sold by vendors such as rvawnings, shade pro etc. The vinyl Carefree uses is low grade and now less quality then what they were using back in the mid 2000's.

You get what you pay for.

Ya'll replaced our '09 Cayman slide toppers quite a few years ago. Our Cayman sat on Camping World parking lot in St Augustine, Fla for 444 days while MCC went belly up. It was several years before replacement, but the toppers are still fine now even though our coach has never been inside out of the sun and we live in Florida. Wish a lot of other items we replaced lasted nearly as long as your stitching.

You are the real deal, and thanks!

Thank you for the kind words Frank. A lot of people know we suffer from OCD issues at Stone Vos and Talin. We all drive each other nuts with perfectionism and trying to find the very best in materials when making products. It has to be the very best or I don't sleep well at night. Buy quality the first time and it saves you money in the long run. 🙂
