Shoreline reel

Getting ready to leave, unplugged electricity and pushed button to reel the cord in.  Motor engaged, nothing happened but sounded like a stripped gear. 

Found a link from 2012 on a blog with a solution.

 I contacted the gentleman who said his son made a replacement gear in his machine shop and would ship to me for $75.

Got it, installed(the little gear was broken in half). Works perfect.

Alot better than $7-900 to buy a new one.

I got the same gear about 5 years ago from him.  It's still doing fine.   I have the TDI shore line reel.
