frankogrly
My air dump on my 2001 Holiday Rambler Endeavor will not close. Anyone run into this problem. I now appreciate the fact Monaco designed the dump to be slow so the air compressor could maintain air pressure. Frank Oliver
jacwjames
Attached is a copy of the parts page showing my Air Dump Solenoid, it is probably the same as yours. You might be able to take the solenoid apart and repair it temporarily. The parts page will have the Monaoc part number but also the vendor which you can use to do a search. This last year I developed some serious air leaks and while repairing I learned a lot about the system. The air bag suspension system and braking system are separate, the design incorporates Pressure Protection Valves (PPV) to isolate the one from the other. So in the event of a problem on the suspension side it will limit the air loss allowing the brakes to still function. 1 Air Bag Dump Solemoid.pdf
Bob Jones
Mine caused me problems at one time and I took it out, stripped it down and stuck it in my ultrasonic cleaner. I put it back together and all was well. At the time I researched it and most people cleaned it with success as mentioned.
cbr046
Why would the dump valve get "dirty"? Poorly maintained air (desiccant) filter? - bob
