JDCrow
I’ve heard reports of a Million unit sales target this year. Get your campsites now! We planned another trip to Utah last month and already one RV park was fully booked, for October 2022 Edited March 2, 2022 by JDCrow
cbr046
Maybe time to open an RV park . . . or 10,000 Think of the substandard service you could provide at outrageous pricing! - bob
tomevansfl
Sorry, but someone already provides that level of service.
JDCrow
Corporations have taken notice and they are buying up many “mom & pop” rv parks. There’s 1 YouTube couple that bought a run down park last year. They have had a few offers that would have doubled their money. If you have some vacant land, you can check zoning to see if you can set up RV storage. Storage is huge premium as lot sizes dwindle in larger cities.
Flyinhy
I stopped and talked to a guy close to where I'm staying and he just bought 2 abandoned mobile home parks. 90 spots in this one close to me. He said just the electrical portion of the investment is 1800 a pad. The trend will end soon if gas and diesel keep going up. I paid 300 for 1/2 a tank of fuel yesterday. Yeah, it’s not cheap to resurrect an old park. The other side of the RV park investment is the cost of Homes. Full time RV in Park looks better and better. I was just a kid, but it seems to me a majority of the old mobile home parks were built in the early 70’s. Was the high inflation/interest rates fueling their construction? Are we repeating history? jacwjames
My parents had a place in an older but nice mobile home park in Florida right across from Jupiter Island and the Lighthouse. Perry Como's house was across the water and he'd stand on his dock and hit golf balls into the water. Allen Jackson's Tikki Hut bar was a couple blocks away. The park actually had water access and a small dock and was 1/4 mile from Jupiter Inlet and the small park. They had a couple open spots and we were able to stay there dozens of times. My mom passed and dad decided he didn't want to be down there by himself so he sold it in 2014. Just for the heck of it I went on Google Earth last year a,nd the place has been stripped clean of mobile homes, not sure what they are going to do with it. Doubt they'll develop it as an RV park as that's prime real estate, no telling how much it's worth.

The city changed the code that if you bought the park, and wanted ti get rid of it, you had to pay to have the trailer moved and set up for the owners. Well that stoped them quick
