bsbarnes74
Hello Group! My name is Bobby and I own a 1996 Monaco Dynasty Baron IV FD! I was wondering if there was anyone on here that might still own a 96 like 1 that I have! Reason I am asking, I am missing a good bit of diagrams that came with the rv and I have been looking everywhere only to end up in a dead end! I was hoping I could find someone here that could help me out! Thanks Bobby Barnes! Edited March 24, 2022 by bsbarnes74
Just Jim
hey Bobby, I have a 95 Dynasty and there are several others that have them in this same general date range. I think there are some files in the downloads section that might help. If you have any other general questions, just ask. Most everyone on here is very willing to give you their opinion. HaHa. Frank McElroy
Take a look in the Downloads. There are a number of files and manuals that would apply to your coach. Although I don't see a specific set of wiring diagrams for a 1996 Dynasty, we do have a set of wiring diagrams for a 1997 Dynasty. Likely close but if someone has a wiring diagrams for a 96, please post them.
bsbarnes74
Thanks guy! I did download the 1997 Files, but if correct me if I am wrong, was 1997 the year that they started using the computer-controlled engine instead of the P pump engine? What I am dealing with is My tach and voltmeter quite working all at the same time. First thing came to mind was alternator but noticed that after stop at a red light or stop sign or just idling, that both would begin to work again, only to be quite after taking off and gain speed! Once I got a chance to look into it, I had found that 2 wires one tach(stator) and I think it was blue wire (line field) from the alternator to the external voltage had rubbed together causing a short and I have replaced the wires in the harness but Me the type to make sure that its right and I haven't screwed up and burn high dollar part up, to now I cant find a diagram for my alternator and voltage regulator wiring! I do have this one but it doesn't show what wires are going where to the voltage regulator! The 1997 files show that they didn't use a external regulator! I'd like to know what wire goes where on the regulator! Do you guys know If I could convert to a Alternator with internal voltage regulator or do I have to use what came on it? Look forward to you'll advice! Thanks Bobby! 1996 Monaco Dynasty Baron IV FD Main Dash Panel.pdf
RoadTripper2084
97' was the last year for the c8.3 mechanical engines, '98 was the ISC8.3 introduction. Can't help you with the wiring for an external regulator, mine is the built-in to the alternator variety.
gofastnow
Attached is the diagram for a 95 Signature showing the external regulator---may or may not be the same as yours. This dwg was taken from the library. 1995MonacoSig.AlternatorSche.pdfGood luck.
