jacwjames
This doesn't pertain to my engine but thought it was interesting. This 2017 article details 5 flaws with the older B series 5.9 & 6.7L engines. https://www.drivingline.com/articles/5-fatal-flaws-of-the-b-series-cummins/ This was posted on IRV2 by a senior member who I usually follow, if he posts something I read it, you know the type. I knew that the FASS system was recommended for engines with the CAPS fuel system but the article also indicates it benefits the VP77 system. Just something to think about. You can either worry about this or be proactive and add the FASS system.
timaz996
Good info Jim. In my book I run synthetic oil for the turbo with the high temps it sees. Tim
