Carnac
Anyone know of part number and or source for the amber and red rounded rectangle marker lights for a 2003 Monaco Dynasty?I would like to just replace just the covers (I am okay with purchasing the entire light if necessary), but would like to just pop the faded covers off and put new covers on the old base. The lights work fine and the bases all seem to be in good condition.A lot of covers are close in size, but not quite right. Thought maybe someone found something that is an easy snap off the old ones and then snap on nice new ones. Thanks - Jim
jacwjames
There should be a number molded into the plastic. Try searching for that number, it may give a replacement light. Not sure if they just sell the lenses.
SigPIlot
They could be Bargman #59. Lens are available in a number of places. I get mine from e-trailer.
Rick A
I think you will find them here: https://shop.findmyrvparts.com/default.asp
Jdw12345
I tried to replace all of my covers last winter, I couldn’t find any that fit just right, I tried a couple of places, even the place the lights were originally purchased from. I gave up and ordered all new LED lights from e trailer. I’m sure there’s a correct fit out there, I just reached the point of not willing to spend more time and money on it. I also bought some spare lenses for the new lights with antisapation that some day I might need 1 or 2. Jmo.
Carnac
Looks nice Jeff. I might do the same. I do have new LED bulbs to put in all the marker lights - hesitant about pulling covers until I have replacements (old lenses (even those that are not faded) are pretty brittle). Jeff - when you replaced your lights, did you have to cut the old wires and splice in the new ones, or did you have enough slack wire on the old light to get to the original connection? Thanks all! Rocketman3
The ones I have replaced there was enough slack wire to pull out to cut & crimp.
Jdw12345
Thanks, the other reason I replaced the entire light fixture was because the 168 bulbs that were in there were stick in the fixture from all of the silicone sealant they used on the assembly floor! I actually had the break the fixtures in order to replace them and cut the silicone out of there with a utility knife. Lots of spare wires on all of mine with the exception of the rear center light, but plenty of wiring to work with.
Guest rangerboat
You may have fixtures with the markings of KII and the base with 1A-S-9 and the lens with 1A-S-20. I ordered and received lens and fixtures from eTrailer. They were super helpful and advised the replacement parts were Optronics MC32RB. The lens by itself is A32RB amber and the red is A32RB. THEY ARE CLOSE but they don’t fit exactly. Don’t waste your time. I will be in town tomorrow for local inventory and will let you know Saturday if I can find the exact fit. Jdw12345
That’s exactly what I went through, I tried 3 different places for lenses and none fit exactly and I said that’s enough!
Guest rangerboat
If you have Kaper clearance lights with the base marked with 1A-S-9 and the lens marked1A-S-20, you can buy these directly from Kaper (800-336-2011). The replacement lenses are now coded L14-0120A (amber) and B (red). They also have a distributor selling them but, only email…PDX RV. Their prices might be lower than Kaper but, I prefer talking with someone rather than “please leave a message “. Kaper direct experience was terrific.
