I have a short hoist similar to that which I have used for 25 years.  Very handy and a lot of jobs are easier on a creeper than using a tall hoist.  I also use it with the lawn mower, off highway vehicles, etc.  The best part is that you control the quality of the work.

I’ve owned a set of Quick Jacks for several years.  They are very well built and are a great help when working on a car.  I wish they went a little higher.  Much better and quicker than setting up 4 Jack stands.
