As we continue to make some changes to our recent purchase...

Don't like the way the Aqua Hot exhaust looks, has anyone added some type of nice chromish looking sleeve?

I did and it lasted couple of years if you get it from auto parts store like i did. They just slip on with 3 bolts to hold them. If I was going to get an other one, it would be stainless. For now i just plan to powdercoat the old tips when I have more to do. Same with the generator.

This is the tip I put on mine when I redid and wrapped the exhaust. As I recall they were readily available from multiple places. You just need the pipe diameter, and you're good to go.

I put a Gibsons stainless one on the gen a few years ago. It's holding up well.

Now my factory chrome AH tip is rusting, and the price of the Gibson tips has skyrocketed !

Yeah,  after reading reviews of some other less pricy stainless tips, I'll go with simulated smoke chrome like powder coat left over from an other job. Better than the current rusty look but not my priority at this time.
