Campgrounds near Lake Okeechobee

Hi all, looking for campground recommendations near Lake Okeechobee in Florida. I have researched around the lake but would really like to hear from anyone who has stayed and what they thought. Thanks in advance,

My yearly lease is at The Glades RV Resort and Marina about 15 miles from Okeechobee. Right on the river. We like it there but I think it's full.

You could check though.

Silver Palms is a very nice upscale resort.  There is also a very large KOA with golf and many amenitites.
