Capt Mike Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 Rear camera on 08 Knight fuzzy picture, side cameras very clear, pulled camera off and wondering how to disconnect cable? Thanks in advance!
DavidL Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 that looks like an adapter. My guess the cables pull out of the adapter. Because it is knurled, perhaps it twists apart. Would need to experiment without overdoing it and breaking the ends.
Scotty Hutto Posted November 29, 2022 Posted November 29, 2022 The knurled pieces unscrew and come apart. 1
On_the_road Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 If you are getting a steady fuzzy picture, the problem is unlikely to be in the wiring. More likely is that the camera lens is dirty or water has gotten in the camera. By a "steady" picture, I mean one that is not jumping around or has problems when you flex the cable.
tmw188 Posted November 30, 2022 Posted November 30, 2022 It has to untwist as others have said. My guess is the larger one turns.
Capt Mike Posted November 30, 2022 Author Posted November 30, 2022 I emailed with Tim at RVCAMS.com and he had a new replacement camera for nearly $300. I had to check around and eBay was the winner…$106 shipped. New in the box and direct replacement part. I’ll update the post after install.

Mine is kind of blurry.
Capt Mike Posted December 1, 2022 Author Posted December 1, 2022 Replying to Mike F…attached is my receipt from the seller, I think he has other cameras for sale. Hope you find him. 1
