Please help.

I have no DC power in my 2004 Monaco Executive.   I have AC power.

I have installed a new SW3012 Inverter/Charger and it seems that was not the problem.   Upgraded Inverter but still no DC power.

Any ideas/suggestions?

time to do the basics....if you incorrectly troubleshot the issue, then try this.

You need to determine HOW many Salesman Switch Solenoids you have.  On the newer Dynasty (and your Exec has the same system) there are TWO solenoids that control your DC power.  That POWER does NOT go through the Inverter.  Quite the Contrary.....the Inverter is only there to provide AC to the interior outlets.

When you are running on DC, then the House Batteries are providing power to both all the HOUSE items (through the main DC Fuse Panel....one or two....read the manual.

The DC from the Batteries is is there for INVERTING or turning 12 VDC into 120 VAC.  NOW....for your edification.  All your INTERNAL AC outlets and Microwave and Refrigerator ((cemaker is gas/electric) or If you have a Factory Residential, then the Inverter powers it.

NOW....the way it works.  DC power comes in via the Battery Cut off Switches...  a know issue...but not the most common.  IF your inverter is working (turn off the AC....assuming you have reasonably well charged batteries).  If you interior outlets work and the TV comes on and the Microwave clock on control panel is ON....then your Inverter is working.  The AC that you see in the outlets and the Microwave is FED THROUGH the Inverter.  It has a small Automatic Transfer Switch. IF you do NOT have a half way decent set of batteries, the Inverter will NOT pass through the 120 VAC to the interior outlets. You MAY not know that, but now you do and you need to understand it.

OK...  Batteries are controlled by the House Disconnect Switch.  IF the Inverter works, you have a GOOD SWITCH....and all is well. there.  NOW....the Salesman Switch (maybe marked Battery Cut OFF on the inside of the Passenger Console as you come in on the left....is what turns ON the Solenoids.  As I said....you may have ONE or two.  If one of these or the only one is bad.....then that is the problem.  That will KILL or not give DC power to your Main DC Fuse panel.  That also kills the DC going to the HVAC Thermostats....so no AC.  The HVAC has 120 VAC, but it comes off the MAIN panel...and NOT through the Inverter.

The ONLY WAY TO TELL....start checking for Voltage.  There is a section in your manual about the HOUSE Solenoid or Battery Cut OFF Switch.  Push the button or the top of the Battery Cut Off Switch and that SHOULD turn on the Solenoids.  If you have a helper, go to where you thing (RRB) the solenoids are....and have them turn the switch OFF...push the bottom of the button.  It is spring loaded....and stays in the center.  It is called a Momentary contact with center OFF.  When you turn the switch ON or OFF....the solenoids will CLICK....you can hear it or FEEL IT.  If you have one....push the SWITCH ON and start to measure Voltage on the LARGE STUD.  You should have 12 to 14 VDC.  12 is the NO AC OR GENNY.  13 - 14 would be what you would see if the Inverter is charging from SHORE or GENNY.

The voltage (measured to GROUND) on BOTH sides should be within 0.1 (max).....if it is higher, you have bad contacts in the Solenoid and it needs to be replaced or taken apart and cleaned...

That is it.  NOW, if you DO NOT have power on EITHER SIDE....then trace (looking at prints helps) the cable. There may be a Circuit breaker upstream of the incoming power....ODDS NOT a FUSE....but you may have a LARGE ANL fuse.....if it is blown, then only purchase a Bussmann IGNITION PROOF or RATED fuse....others will fail.  If you have a resettable Circuit Breaker, there will be a lever to push back into place.

That's it...
