jmcnamer
I'm not finding grease fittings on the hydraulic jacks of my 97' Monaco Dynasty. What maintenance is needed to make sure the jacks stay in working order? Thanks for your help Jody
Dennis H
Jody, they are hydraulic jacks operated via hydraulic fluid. No grease fittings as grease would simply gum up the mechanisms. Any lube on the shafts will act as a dirt magnet. That said, if you want to lube them do so with some transmission fluid on a rag and wipe them down just before retracting them. You could also use a silicone spray but IMO do not spray/wipe them until you're ready to pull them up. Again, any oil based fluid will act as a dirt magnet and dirt is not a friend of the jacks....Dennis

Dale n Deb
We have an 08 HR Endeavor and it has one grease fitting just a bit above the base. It took a bit to find them. After we greased them they worked lots better.
Steven P
My 06 Dilpomat also has a grease fitting just above each base. I greased them all earlier this year and wipe them down w ATF twice per year.
