Brian J
I received an email from Starlink today saying they no longer allowing NEW subscribers to portability. If you have it you can keep it, if you cancel it you cant get it back. Gmail - Starlink Portability Update.pdf
Michael J
So they are doing away with the “RV” model and the marine model as well?
Brian J
No, not getting rid of it, just no new subscribers. It's most likely a satellite access issue, once more satellites put up probably can take more subscribers. I haven't investigated. No NEW portability subscribers. They have renamed the "RV" service "Regional Roam," but it is the identical service.

JohnC3
Roam is like portability except it's a 1 way change. Once you go on roam, you are at lower priority and higher price than residential. But if you RV in the east, using residential and changing service address won't work well.
