Plastic part that holds drivers side motorized shade.

I have the Colorado sun shades, a couple years ago I was looking for a new mounting bracket and there none to be found.  I was able to make mine work but no doubt its on borrowed time.

So if mine does bite the dust I'll use a conduit strap of the right size,  You can buy metal or plastic type and paint it black.  I really can't see mine easily so it wouldn't be noticeable.

I glued mine back together with E 3000 glue.

JB Weld, the clear kind, should also work.  It has body and is a great reinforcing overlay.  I doubt you would have to add a supplementary clamp or bracket.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I glued the broken piece with JB Weld clear as suggested by Tom. Then I used plastic zip ties with 3M double sided tape to give some additional support. We are headed to Hart Rancg Rv resort near Rapid City Sd so the repair will get its first test. Hope it stays up. 😁😁
