Passenger scissor slide cover

Recommended Posts

The large passenger slide in our 2004 Dynasty has and accordion/pleated door to cover the scissor slide mechanism when the slide is closed. The cover is operated with strings thru the fabric and opens and closes with a "bungee" type cord attached to the strings so it expands or collapses as the slide is moved in or out.

I adjusted the "bungee" years ago but it has come loose again. I will remove the fabric unit  again to attempt to fix.  The fabric has become crinkled so I am not sure it can he salvaged.

In the event I am not successful, Google searches have not found a replacement.

Any ideas on replacement are greatly appreceiated.

Thanks

Mike

To me it looks the same as what they use for RV Pleated Day/Night shades.

Yes very similar but has a track at each end of the material. One end attached to the wall and the other to the slide.
