Front Windshield Blind

Recommended Posts

My front windshield blind does not go up all the way. There is about 18-20 inches of blind remaining when fully retracted. When putting it down, there is about 2 feet of extra blind. It is an electric roller blind. I do not know how to identify the brand or how to adjust it. It is up behind the front overhead cabinets. I don't see any adjustment wire or switch hanging down on either side. There is no way to reach up behind the overhead cabinets to look for roller end adjustments. What to do?

Thanks!

It can only be one of a few different brands, The most popular one is from MCD. They have instructions on their web site on how to program the shade for the proper drop distance and the proper up or stowed position.

AutoMotion is another brand. You can search for their web site for any help they may provide.

Thanks. I looked for the adjustment wire and button up on the left side of the roller shade, but it is nowhere to be found. Perhaps it is hidden behind some trim or molding. I have no idea.

Thanks Paul. I already have those 2 documents, the manual and the sales brochure. No mention of windshield blind that I can find.

I do have the build data sheet. I'll revisit that to see if the windshield blind is included.

The build sheet didn't list the brand. I emailed Rev and they replied that it is a United shade. They attached the adjustment instructions, which is to rotate knobs on either end. Problem is how to even reach them tucked up behind the cabinets.

Thanks for you replies and information!
