What are the instructions to Edit a Coach For Sale Ad on This Site

I need to clarify some of the text in the ad. Not the subject, etc.  I thought it would be beneficial to ask in regular posting so other members can benefit from the necessary steps.

There is a 12 hour edit window after making a post.  After that, only a site moderator or site administrator can edit a post.  This information was posted by Scotty months ago.

1. We’ve tried; at this time the owners (Dave, Frank, me) do not allow unlimited editing of posts based on past experience (early on, we had a disgruntled member attempt to delete several hundred posts); 12 hrs is the max our current setup allows.  We’ve also tried to adjust these settings to allow unlimited editing in specific forums (i.e., Classifieds) and it may be available in a future release of the software, but not now.

2. Just for the record, we do NOT have a complimentary license for the site. Between the site software, hosting, and email service, we pay handsomely to operate this site.  Dave Pratt, Frank McElroy, and myself cover these costs out of pocket by choice.  We DO receive a reduced rate on site hosting & software, as the parent company is owned by a relative of a member, and that reduced rate has not increased in the 5 years that the Monacoers been on this site.
