I just rebuilt my reel with a gear from John. Thank you for sharing this information. The hardest part was working it out between the tank elbows. I had to flex the elbows apart to slip it through. I was very happy to be able to rebuild because it appeared that the new hose reels stood too tall to fit under the tanks.

I have replaced all my tubes with these from M4 Lighting. They are not cheap, but I have been very pleased with the results. You do an easy rewire and eliminate the ballast. https://m4products.com/t8-18tube-nw-f15t8-natural-white-18-t8-led-tube-light-12v-4500k-t8-120-3528-18-nw/

We just did them on our 2006 Camelot and couldn’t be more pleased with the product and the process!

I just installed one last week and we love it. Ours is mounted high and my wife always needed a stool to stand on to see the old 5 button Dometic. It wasn’t the easiest for me to see either. Numbers are now easy to see and WiFi / Bluetooth makes it really nice for adjustments or schedule setting from your phone or tablet. I had a small glitch when setting it up ( my fault). Their tech support got me right on track. Yes, it was a lot of money for a thermostat, but we feel it was well worth it to be able to see it and to set a schedule so we wake up to a warm coach in the morning !

Barkerwn,
I called Magnum Research tech today. They recommended the Hubbell GFRST20 GFCI outlet.

Our Samsung works fine on the original inverter. Not sure on LG.
