    Ken,

    I bought mine off Amazon

Thank you! That’s exactly what it did now! Thank for the help too!! I would never have figured this out on my own! And that clicking would have just kept going on! It affects the battery charging too I think because the charger voltage kept going down every time the clicking would happen. And of course the lights would dim

Now if I can just get the low coolant sensor tho v figured out 🤷🏻‍♂️

Did you check ✔ your AC  breaker box

    They are marked

I did but didn’t see any breakers tripped? They should both show up on the LCD display  even if off correct? And not you have to have the AC off or rear one on (which neither made a difference)?

Hi Ken , Can you hear any relays randomly clicking? from your Automatic Energy select switches? (P/N 00-00714-00)  not sure where they are in your coach maybe in the rear closet assuming you have one? Or possibly under the floor in the back somewhere?

If you do, it could be a bad Automatic energy switch! I just had the same problem.

Umm..yes!!! I do!! I was wondering what that was!  Exactly what is going on! Where do you get one of those? We are selling the coach and will need to get it fixed before selling. And I’m guessing it isn’t cheap?! 😬

edited: I just looked on eBay and they are under $100 so that’s not bad at all considering I paid $2700 to get the cruise fixed on it because this coach has the Kong chassis control box and not the VIP one  that is readily available! 😡

Wow, you got one of the last big Monaco coaches.  What a find.

Is it a 2 or 1 wire sensor?

If a 2 wire, try connecting the 2 wires directly and see if the light resets.  If a 1 wire, try grounding it and see if it resets.

    Hope you get it.

Actually is a 3 wire one?

And we are selling it to get a smaller rv we can pull the boat with so we can get in and out of boat landings

  4. I recently got a low coolant check engine light come on. I checked the level and it is up to the bottom of the filler neck and the sensor is way below that. Even if the coach was tilted it shouldn’t be affected. So I thought the sensor must be bad as I’ve heard the Cummins low coolant sensors have a tendency to go out. So I replaced it. On my last coach the same thing happened with the 400 Cummins and that fixed it. This one is still reading low coolant after putting in the new part. And I got it from a Cummins dealer. I suppose it could be bad too but should I be looking for something else that would trigger this? Is there a way to ohm it out?

  5. Update: I let it cool down and tried it again and it’s working! So must have been hot enough that it didn’t need to heat up anymore??

I just replaced the nozzle because it wasn’t firing. It would run but not fire. After I replaced the nozzle it fired up no problem. I then decided to replace the filter. I used vice grips to cut off the flow on both sides then took off the old filter and filled the new filter with fuel and replaced it. I took off the vice grips from the fuel lines and then pushed the button in the coach to start it and nothing. The button lights up, the lights on the front of the aquahot board that are lit are fuel burner status and low temp cut off. I checked the fuse and of course it’s good or it wouldn’t light up. I know it has to be something simple I’m missing? Could it be that it really is hot and it doesn’t need to turn on? I tried turning the furnace on zone one to 84 degrees (it’s 72 inside) and the furnace blower came on but not the Aquahot. What am I missing? And I have 3/4 tank of fuel

The kitchen faucet on our 2009 Dynasty is made by Danze. I have two numbers for them: 888-328-2383 and 877-530-3344. They replaced our handle because the hose pulled out and they replaced the cartridge. They also replaced the bathroom shower head (the paint had worn off). There was no charge for any of the parts. We did pay shipping.

     Hope this helps.

Thank you Ray! I’ll definitely call them!

  7. I’ll definitely look again. The 4000 cartridge looks right and did in all the stores but I was told that it wouldn’t fit by looking at it? 😆

looks like Amazon has it so I’ll order it there and get it in a couple days.

And I would replace the whole faucet (and accessories) if it wasn’t for the fact that it is in that special red-ish copper color and not the usual oil rubbed bronze. We are going to sell the coach so I don’t want to replace the whole kitchen set. Although…if we were keeping it I definitely would! 😀

  8. I bought one for our coach a year ago at quartzite. I got the temp and battery sensor. And we bought a hughes surge protector that can also be read on the app. It works good but the whisper app was kind of glitchy. Haven’t used it for 7 mos as the coach is in storage. We bought it so that in case we are away from the coach and it looses power or the temp goes above a certain limit we can be alerted of it. We have puppies and that was our main concern to make sure they are alright when we’re gone. The other issue with the app is that it’s free monitoring for a year then I think it’s a monthly fee? I haven’t used it for awhile so I’d have to confirm that. When I get the coach out of storage I’ll reinstate the app

  9. Oh no! I was just able to see this post now! I’m actually really saddened by this. 😢 I finally met Bill in person last year at the Monaco meet up in Tampa Bay. Such a nice guy! He  has helped me with many problems on the two Monaco coaches we’ve owned first through his videos on YouTube then these forums and in person. We are praying for his family going through their loss. He will be sorely missed! 🙏🏻😞

  10. We are thinking of maybe selling our 2009 45’ Dynasty now because we may be going the opposite direction in size as we have a bass boat and want to be able utilize that when we go places for the winter (we live in Minnesota). Having a house again (we lived full time in a coach not the dynasty) might help us with that decision. And now is the tine to sell? We would replace it with a much smaller motorhome that we could easily park at any park or parking lot as it’s harder to get into some rv parks. It would need to tow at least 5,000 lbs. But...we might wait for a year or two to get a replacement because of the higher prices/demand. Also with the higher demand comes less inventory and a harder time finding what we want? We will not buy new but would like to get something a couple to a few years old to avoid the huge depreciation new RVs go through and to get something (hopefully) that most of the bugs have been worked out. I’m handy and and have replaced/repaired many items on our RVs we’ve had so I’m not afraid of that but I don’t want a money pit either.
But...in saying all that ...it’s quite a change going from a 45’ luxury coach to a 24-27’ class c or b-plus. But also now is the time to sell! If we wait until next year the market and demand may not be so good? We could probably get a better deal on the one we want to but but loose on selling the one we have? I know it may even put loss for gain but I’m someone who likes to gain gain ! 😊

Yes it is on the Kongsberg box. I am sure sorry you had to go through that and pay that much. I can't imagine they did much more than I did if they only added a 5v power supply. Yes, I had lost all steering wheel controls as well. But now it all appears to be just fine, at least sitting in the campground. We roll out again Saturday early, so I will be able to test the cruise then. But that is the only thing I have not been able to check other than turning it on and off and checking the RPM ramp up and down.

Ken, can you see any type of external power supply? depending on where they put it I would suspect either in the run box like I did, or under the dash if the cut up that high.

I thought I had taken a picture of it after they fixed it but I didn’t. And it’s in storage now 2 hours away so I’m not able to get a picture of it. But I don’t remember seeing anything different in the the bay? Maybe they put it inside the box? I wouldn’t think there would be room for it there? As soon as I can get back there I’ll take a picture and post it

  12. Is this the Kongsberg box? For our 2009 Dynasty we had to have M&M fix ours a year ago in Florida. They charged $2600 for an hours worth of work!! 😡 I’m guessing that’s all they did was the same thing you did? They told me they had to replace the 5 volt power supply. I had no wipers or cruise. At that tine there was no one out there on the forums I contacted that could help solve the problem. What a rip off!!!

  13. 2009 Dynasty. That might be my problem too with the circuit board. It will turn on and off on its own and at times will blow a fuse. I noticed that if I walked on the roof directly in front of it the fan would come on then if I took my foot off that spot it would stop. That was last summer. Now just before putting it away if reinstalled the fuse for it (it had blown for the 5th time so I just left it out) and now it works with no issues. But now the rear fan is doing the same thing. I’m wondering if there is a little moisture getting in and causing it to corrode the board? I won’t look at it unti next spring when I take it out of heated storage here in Minnesota. But at least this gives a direction to look?
