  1. That door looks repairable.  My RV had the same problem on three cargo doors and Creative coach in Lakeland, Fl made three new doors which were same as original.  So there are plenty of professionals repair shops that can handle your situation.

  2. That is a good problem to solve.  Never experienced any problem like that. But sicne it will start from the rear switch and only turn over from the front switch, I would guess there is more than one function these switches do, i.e. at least engage the starter and the fuel pump.  I would guess the front is not engaging the fuel pump and I would have someone at the reat of the coach while you turn the front switch to determine f they can hear the fuel pump.

Other than that, I wouldn't have a clue where to begin.

  3. I would think your Windsor is very similar to my 01 Imperial.  If the system worked fine before you had the ac worked on, I would suspect the mechanic inadvertently disconnected an air hose in the front generator compartment while working on the ac.  That is were some air dump controls are located on the Imperial.  I would open the genset drawer and listen for an air leak while RV engine is running.  Good luck.

I am facing the replacement of all my tires on my 2005 HR Scepter soon.  It takes 295x80R22.5 tires,  It has Michelin XVA Energy tires right now, and I am looking for replacements.  I had great luck with Totos on a previous coach, as well as Michelin XVA Energy tires, so I am considering both.  I belonged to FMCA and Monaco International (MI)  when I bought the Michelins with MI's discount program.

So, I am interested in the FMCA/MI current discount program (is it worth the cost to sign up with them?), and I am interested in which tire to buy.  Michelin has 3 RV tires in 295x80R22.5 size   (X® COACH HL Z,   X® MULTIWAY 3D XZE®,   and XZA2® ENERGY (what I currently have).]   I can't find a Toyo tire in that size, so maybe Toyo is out of consideration?

Any thoughts or comments?  Can anyone tell me what the FMCA/MI prices are?

I had no problem purchasing six toyo  m144  tire 295-80 22.5 in Ocala, fl. Prices about $500 each but I’ve even seen cheaper for same. Tax, installed, balance and out the door.

  5. Time to sell our Imperial due to back surgery a couple years back and haven’t been able to use it in last several years.  The RV is stored under cover in a commercial storage lot in Ocala, Fl.  It has been properly maintained for all required maintenance.  Toyo 295/80-22.5 tires only two years old with 1300 miles.  Mileage is 42,023. 7.5kw generator with 422 hours.   Everything works as it should except a couple of window shades.  Basement storage has sliding trays. Cummins ISC 350 engine.  Two heat pumps and gas furnace.  I do take the RV out of storage about every 6 weeks and clean it, exercise all the mechanics (HVAC, Genset, refrig) and drive it for about 70 miles before returning to the storage location. New engine battery Feb 2019, all new hosue batteries Sep 2019.  LED TV upgrade. New queen mattress. Maintained by Cummins in Ocala.  (352) 875-1663.

  6. Lived there for 35 years and worked at the space center.  Be prepared for traffic jams coming and going.  Getting to Cocoa Beach or Titusville will be impossible on the Beachline, 520, 50.

I would suggest coming in thru Ocala and take 40 to I95 and getting off 95 at Garden St and go East to the river.  There is a park there called Sand Point Park.  But all this area will be extremely packed. You can expect hours delay if you try to go too far south on US 1.  View farther south may be a little better but then expect an hour at least to get back to 95 to head north to 40 and to Ocala.

But lots of excitement and if you haven’t experienced a launch then it may be worth it.  Personally I’ve been to close to them and even got thrown backwards when a Delta II exploded a few feet off the ground back in 1995.  Have fun and be prepared for very few wearing masks and never practicing social distancing.

Personally I will watch it on tv from Ocala.

  7. I had a simialr problem on my 01 Imperial several years back.  I did the troubleshooting to identify the exact casue.  Of course when I took it to Wildwood, Fl for repair they didn't take my word for the casue and did 10 hours of troubleshooting to come up with the same cause as I did and I paid t=for that ten hours.

Anyway, read this article on hyraulic fan systems.

    https://www.centralstatesbus.com/wp-content/uploads/2003_BBAA/a3pdfs/a3hydfan.pdf

The fan speed is controlled by a fan control valve.  A wax valve on the radiator controls the fan control valve.  When the arva is cold and temp is below 185 degrees, the wx valve blocks most hyradualic fluid from going though the wax valve and thus to the fan control valve.  Therefore, the  radiator fan spins at a low speed.  When the temperature of the engine and coolant increase the wax valve allows more fluid to pass to the fan control valve and thus the speed of the fan increases.  Since your fan is spinning fast, the wax valve could be faulty and is much cheaper to replace (~$140) than the fan control valve assembly (~$1500 plus hours of labor).

A simply test to determine if the wax valve is faulty is to remove the two hoses connected to teh wax valve and use the proper fitter to cap the two lines.  This will result in no fluid being returned to the fan control valve assembly and therefore should result in the fan spinning very slow.  If the fan speed is still high then the fan control valve assembly is faulty but if the fan speed is low then teh wax valve is bad and needs to be replaced.

In 2016, Alliance (now lazy Days in Wildwood, FL) charged me $3811 to replace the fan control valve assemblya and various hydraulic hoses.  I also replaced the wax valve myself that i purchased off ebay for about $100.  I keep the wax valve as it was replaced only because of the other work, it never failed.  I also kept the fan control valve assembly to have rebuilt if needed.

If your fan control valve is bad, contact Precision Fluid Power at 1-800-728-5168 to see if they can rebuild your unit.  If the wax valve is bad contact: http://www.nwrvsupply.com/product/553109857190.html to see if they have one.

Sorry the part number mean nothing to me as I have no cross reference.

    Good luck
