If you have a tried and proven version, I think people would be interested in them. I just barely designed and printed mine, so drive time with them yet.

The atwood covers are no longer produced, and I think pretty much every retailer is out of stock. I have designed and 3d printed some in PETG, but not sure how strong/reliable they would be in the long run.  After I do a few more test fits I will share the 3d printer files, but is there a large market for these? Me personally, the wind noise drives me crazy so I want some and my coach is missing all of them!

I do not have a 3D printer or know where to get one t use. SO I would like to put my order in for 18 for each side of my 2002 Windsor. Wayne Hill, wmh4805@aol.com, 9282790467

If I was able to injection mold some, would people want them? Just trying to see if there is demand to justify me and my son making them.

  2. Great info on  installing a  keyless system. I bought a system as you stated,  and trying to install it, into my coach ,my coach is a 2002 Monaco Windsor. Could I E-mail  you the wiring diagram that came with the unit, so you might help with the wiring of the unit into my coach. My key pad works find, I did not receive the keyless bob with the coach when I bought it. I have the 2 relays you said that are needed. My coach does not have 2 connectors under the cup holder,  it has 1 connector with all the wires coming from the key pad going to it.

  3. JUST MADE THE 80 MILE TRIP FROM KINGMAN, AZ TO ASH FORK, AZ (THE PRESCOTT, AZ TURNOFF).  I 40 LOOKS LIKE  A BOMBING TEST RANGE.  THERE ARE POT HOLES IN MOSTLY THE OUTSIDE LANE.  THEY RANGE FROM 1'" DEEP TO 4" DEEP.  ONE FOOT ACROSS TO OVER 5 FOOT.  THERE ARE OVER 30,000 TRUCKS AND CARS  TRAVELING THIS SECTION OF I40.  I WONDER WHAT ARIZONA IS DOING WITH ALL THE FEDERAL HIGHWAY TAX MONEY THAT IS EARMARKED TO MAINTAIN OUR INTERSTATE HIGHWAYS.  SPOTTED A SIGN THAT READ "ROUGH ROAD FOR THE NEXT 5 MILES".  I GUESS THIS IS THEIR WAY OF REPAIRING THE ROAD BY PUTTING UP A SIGN.  MADE THIS SAME TRIP A MONTH AGO AND SAW WORKMEN POURING COLD ASPHALT INTO A HOLE OVER 4" DEEP.  I GUESS THIS WAS THEIR WAY OF MAKING A REPAIR.  ON THAT TRIP I SAW 4 CARS ALONG SIDE THE ROAD WITH 1 OR 2 FLATS WAITING FOR TOW TRUCKS.  I HOPE SOMEONE FROM THE FEDERAL D.O.T. READS THIS AND  STARTS ASKING QUESTIONS LIKE "WHERE IS THE MONEY GOING?"

THE OUTBOARD LANE ON I40 IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE A MOTORHOME IN!!

  4. There are switches at each cargo door under that slide, I had 2 of the switches go bad at the same time. Monaco teck told me to unplug the switches and in stall a 5 amp. blade fuse in the wires that I unplugged from the switches and insert the fuses, I did all 3 doors and the slide worked find. When I got home I replace all three of the Cole-Hersee switches (9269-X) with new ones. You should be able to go in the cargo compartment and look up and see the slide motor there is a lever on the end of the motor turn the lever to release the electric motor brake then using a large wrench you can manley bring the slide in, BUT REMEMBER TO TURN THE BRAKE LEVER BACK LOCKING THE MOTOR SO THE SLIDE WILL NOT COME OUT WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING.
