2001 Monaco signature has the same problem. One door does not slide due to plastic strip 

Thank you for all the suggestions.  We will try them tomorrow.  What a great site.  I like getting first hand info instead of searching on google.  

The steps light works, but no movement.  The manual says to check a 20 amp fuse.  We are having trouble locating the fuse to check it. Thanks for any responses.

We just had ours fixed. mobile rv man took cylinder off for us and we took it to a hydraulic shop to be reworked.  it cost $119.00.  Mobile rv man put it back on and it works perfectly. Large slide now works like it was brand new!!!  The trick is to take the cylinder to a hydraulic shop for repairs. We tried three different repairs guys before we made the right choice!
