  1. our 94' monoco dynasty was stolen yesterday in  Los Angles. we feel devastated. Our son Keenan was living in it as he traveled.HE was joyous and loving it.He had many of our belongings, and every thing he owned in the coach. Yesterday he returned to where he had parked the coach and it had disappeared. with only some shards of reflective glass in the middle of the street. It took the LA police over three hours to arrive and make out a report. They said it would be like finding a needle in a hay stack to find it. we don't know which way to turn. We contacted Progressive Insurance and filed a claim. they said someone may be in touch with us at the latest monday.

i'm not even sure what we are asking. is there something else we should do? We feel lost. we are also kicking ourselves for feeling secure and keeping absolutely everything we have (had) in the motor home.  We've had our baby since new i 1994 built a climate controlled garage for her and kept her in perfect condition.

Has anyone had similar experiences. what did you do? how did you survive.? maybe looking for empathy and support. The Monacoers have been so helpful to us and so so many others. We may be looking for some kind of miracle.   PS: We are still grateful for our continued good health.

  2. We figured out our fix for the solution thanks for everyone’s help! It was as simple as requiring a reset of the gas detector located inside of the coach! You guys and gals are Lifesavers.

we are enjoying our trip with smooth sailing for the most part! Elton is having a blast either way.

  3. Our ignition/starter is often not connecting and is requiring multiple attempts to turn it on. It seems to be getting worse ( requires more attempts) before turning over and starting.

This is for our Monaco Dynasty ‘94 with a Cummins Diesel pusher.

When it does connect it starts right up!

Our fear is that one day she won’t start. Any suggestions? We have been so appreciative to everyone’s help in the past.

    Thank you

    Ted

  4. Thank you for your responses.. my question now is how to most effectively test the house batteries. If the house battery is full, the inverter is on, and I’m using no other source of power- how long should my batteries last if I’m only using a small oxygen concentrator and C-PAP machine?

The batteries seem to only last 1.5 - 2 hours max. That doesn’t seem right to me but I’m not sure. Please share your experience… thank you in advance !

  5. We are needing to replace the batteries on your ‘94 Monaco dynasty. We were thinking about batteries plus. Does anyone have any suggestion on a better place to test/replace the batteries?

  6. ‘94 Monaco dynasty

We went to U-Haul and filled up with LP. We were at a 1/2 tank of LP and everything was working (generator/fridge/stove).  After getting our tank filled we realized that nothing LP related would work (generator/fridge/stove) as if nothing is getting gas. We have the valve set to open. We went back to U-Haul and the technician who filled up the LP said “I am no technician” and refereed us to AmeriGas( who doesn’t open until Monday).

    Any ideas or suggestions?

Attached are two pictures. One of the LP tank and the other of our traveling companion, Elton.

  7. My son and I have discovered in our 1994 Monoco Dynasty that there is a fluid leak coming  from the power steering hose  #IC40710  (diagnosed at Cummins) who did not have time to fix it. They sent us down the road ( in Milwaukee, Wi) to Truck Country. They are having trouble finding the part (hose).  They mentioned maybe the trouble they are having finding the hose is ours in NOT a freightlinner chassis. I believe we have a RoadMaster chassis, and don't know how to help them track down this much needed hose            (Part# IC40710 )We are hoping for suggestions or ideas?!     My email address is tact50@gmail.com or my phone numbers are 414-232-6380 or 414-332-3322 if appropriate. My name is Ted. Thank you.
