Ok went through the trouble shooting on the Aquahot service manual today and as it turns out it’s the switch that’s defective.
Bypassed with a jumper wire and it’s all good now to determine the correct matching replacement switch and replace it.

Ok I went to the coach and mine does not have the fuses mounted on the unit.
the wiring diagram does show fuses.
I will return during the week and start the Easter egg hunt to locate them 😉

Clarification:
we are in Indiana it’s 20° to 45° today.
the Aquahot is on its 65° inside both the diesel and electric elements are in use all functioning as they should.
Before attempting to start a cold engine the switch in the cockpit “engine preheat” is turned on and the switch does not light.
exit the coach check the control panel and the light on that labeled Preheat also is not lit ! The stir pump does not activate as described aboveThe block heater is a separate switch on the dashboard and it’s not plugged in in the engine compartment at this time.

everything is working normally except when I turn on the engine preheat switch there is no light on the control board.
any ideas is there possibly a fuse inline for that?

I just resolved this issue today the battery isolator had failed if you move the alternator (center terminal) to the chassis terminal and it charges that is your problem. You can run it that way until replacement.
the alternator is available from AJ Electric on Amazon they also provide free troubleshooting support very nice people.

Not sure on your particular guage but recently replaced the oil sender and it was a VDO brand easily found online for less than a 3rd of the price at RV sources

I upgraded twice first to the clear lens and led bulbs. The lenses filled with road dirt after a few thousand miles. The old sockets were a constant problem with intermittent connectivity.
Next I purchased the LED taillights but this time I cut out the sockets and used marine style waterproof but connectors. Using a heat gun the solder and shrink wrap at the same time.
be careful not to over tighten they mount directly to the fiberglass and you cannot use the supplied brackets.
also used eternabond tap on the inside to seal the opening from road debris
no more intermittent connectivity !

We also have a 2001 Dynasty, yes I have removed them by drilling out the rivets.
After replacement installation of new rivets. -
Replacement of the scissors with a gas strut was one of the best updates so far

Temporary potential fix.
We had a hole in a front driver’s side bag and was able to locate the hole. Took a self tapping screw slightly larger than the hole and coated it with silicone and let it dry.
Next day aired up fine was good enough to drive it to nearest Freightliner dealer 48 miles away to have it replaced. They had the bag in stock.

They are not in a standard location even on the same year make and model.
some are in the basement some in the bathroom seems it was placed wherever was convenient the day it was assembled.

We have the same 2001 Dynasty and replaced both Dometic 13,500 with 15,000 btu penguins.
You state you have a “furnace” be aware thats not controlled the same way as Aquahot!
if you have Aquahot there are 3 zones for heat.
Each zone of heat is controlled by a controller board. 1 board is mounted in each Air conditioner but the 3rd controller is mounted somewhere hidden in the coach. It was quite a hunt to find ours in a false wall in an upper cabinet adjacent to the refrigerator.
When buying new units they provide “New style controllers” for the CCC2 version thermostats.
to use the original thermostats you need to retrofit the “Old style controllers” for the 5 button thermostat. If you do this you don't have to search for the 3rd controller.
Not knowing this we bought the new CCC2 thermostat's. Thus 1 zone of Aquahot did not function until we located and upgraded to a New style controller.
5 extra hours labor to locate and replace the 3rd controller.

The file is called Monaco_door_gas_strut_upgrade.pdf. I made the upgrade on my 2000 Signature and it greatly improved the door operation on my rig. If you do the upgrade, measure and plan carefully. Every rig is slightly different with regards to the measurements given.
This is the best solution after replacing the scissor stop multiple times. We installed the gas strut a couple years ago not only is it a dramatic improvement over the original. It also eliminated a significant amount of road noise emanating from the door area.
the scissor assembly was bouncing in the area above the door making quite a racket.

You can purchase the original part from Veurink’s in Grand Rapids Michigan.
(616) 281-5111 select parts they will reply usually within 1 business day.
They purchased the remaining Monaco Inventory prior to the REV purchase.They have them with the original R for Roadmaster on them.
We have had aftermarket hubcaps the didn't fit exactly. Purchased from Veurink’s and 10,000 miles later still in place. To me recollection they were reasonably priced.

I covered the the rear of the lights entirely with 4” eternabond tape they are completely sealed from weather but it could be removed if an issue should arise.

I installed these on my 2001 Dynasty last spring. Purchased 2 pairs from LM Truck.
I hard wired them with waterproof marine solder but connectors.
They work great with all functions and normal or sequential functions are selectable with a switch on the rear.
Highly visible and with all pigtails removed very reliable.
Only issue is that they fit extremely tight in the opening and the supplied gaskets and mount couldn’t be used.
First trip down the road 3 of the 4 lenses spider cracked in the outer lenses. Probably from mounting directly to the body not allowing for flexing. If performed again would suggest trimming the edges and using some form of gasket material as an insulator.
The stress cracks did not effect functions and can only be noticed up close to the lights.Requires 2 left and 2 right taillights

We have the same coach and model, Be certain that the coach is leveled as your viewing this seal prior to adjustment. My experience is sometimes on uneven ground It sometimes has a gap and other times it does not.

Yes but it did not make a difference if you jumper the pins per the troubleshooting it lights and you hear the pump.
tested the switch and it’s actually good so somewhere there’s a fuse or broken wire?
the manuals show a fuse block on the Aquahot but it’s not on mine so Monaco put it somewhere else as they did with the preheat switch being on the console and not near the diesel and electric switches.
