Fuel contanination could be cause by lightning strike.  Intank assemblies were affected and could release microscopic particles into the fuel.  Easy to check, have the fuel tested.  Who is your insurance company?

I received the schematic book from NWRVSUPPLY last evening.  It appears to be very complete and is in a large format.  It is the same as the pdf Jacwjames has refered to.  I am pleased with it.

Jacwjames, I downloaded the file you mentioned, I think this will help.  It does not seem to be searchable, unless I am missing something.

Rocketman, thanks for the reply.  Is the fuse numbered?  I have searched through the front electrical bay and can find no fuses labeled exhaust brake.  I have found in the rear electrical bay a bunch of relays labeled exhaust brake.  No breakers or fuses found there.  I have no idea how to trace the wires without a diagram.

I have lost power to the exhaust brake.  It is a PAC brake.  The switch on the driver's consul, by my left arm, no longer lights up when it is turned on.  I have done some poking around but can't find anything.  I thought maybe a fuse but can't find one.  Does anyone have a wiring diagram for my coach?  It's a 2002 HR with the Cummins ISC 8.3 liter and the Allison 6 speed.

Thanks, my hydraulic system is totally different.  It's located in the right front when you open the the generator cover.  However, you have give me ideas.

Rcpilot1,  can you relate to us how you use a drill to operate the hydraulic levers?

If it goes off when you touch the accelerator pedal, that's good.  It could be that you just have a bad switch.  If it works on low, won't turn off, and does not engage high when you have the switch set to high.  I think it is the switch.

Please check the switch at the accelerator pedal.  Are you sure it’s a Jake brake and not an exhaust brake 

Thanks everyone.  I will see if I can find it.  I have been told that I have a Dana 4.68 rear axle.  The original owners of our coach never wrote the serial numbers in any of the manuals that came with it.

I have a 2002 Holiday Rambler Ambassador 36 foot.  I can't find the engine numbers and neither can my mechanic.  However, the Roadmaster chassis vin decodes to an 8.8 liter Cummins L series.  I have not heard of and 8.8L, only 5.9, 8.3, and 8.9.  Two different places and said it's the 8.8, but neither was able to give me the engine serial number.
