Thank you, lm having trouble with my Aqua Hot now. I made really look into this now

  2. I have a 01 Monaco Dynasty Jack.  I’m hooked up to shore power at my house, went out after the storm yesterday evening and the headlights were on, I checked the switch and it was off the key wasn’t in the ignition. Has anyone had this happen? I had to shut the kill switch off in the back panel to get them to go of.
    Thanks in advance

I recently had to replace the AquaHot AHE-100-01S tank in my 2002 Dynasty.  The copper fresh water coils had developed a leak.  I had noticed a small amount of water collecting in the service bay for some time.  Eventually the leak increased and I had to turn off the water pump when water was not needed as it would cycle continuously to maintain pressure and a puddle formed below the AquaHot.

I owe a tremendous amount of thanks to Vito Adragna for all of his help with this project.  He patiently answered my emails and text messages.  Without his help I would have been lost.  I also want to thank John and Hanna Carrillo from HeatMyRV.com for their help and the replacement tank.  John is busy but he did return calls and text messages when I needed him.  Fortunately for us replacement tanks are available.

I could not find any instructions on this procedure, so I have attached my notes and photos so that it might help someone else.  Use at your own risk!

The filling and pressurizing procedures are different from the manual with the new non-pressurized tank.  It worked quite well.  Took me about 16 gallons to fill the system.

Thank you so much, how do I get them to open on my apple IPad?

I changed out the PO's large, 2006 in motion satellite that wasn't working. Just threw it down to the ground when I unhooked it.  One guy at the storage unit was startled.  I guess a warning would've been nice,  lol.  He was nowhere near me, but it was loud.  I covered those holes w eternabond and dicor.

Thanks, that’s probably what I’ll do

  5. Mines the same as Jim Js the relays are in the passenger side rear compartment, I go my relay from NAPA and bought a spare to go with it. Good luck.

You should also check the safety buttons on the doors to make sure the are making contact.

Not good news. You most likely have an older Aqua-Hot with the internal fresh water coil inside the boiler which has sprung a leak.

Yes it’s a 100-00S model that sets in the moof the basement, I have a quote of 11.6 for the new 600 model and that’s not installed

Take the cover off and be sure you don't have a fitting leaking.  The hole where the exhaust comes out is at the bottom and where any leakage ends up.  Keep your fingers crossed that is what it is.

Took the cover off can’t see any hose’s or valves leaking there is some water coming from the inspection plate where the heater element goes in.

Because the older Aqua Hot design has the fresh water copper piping wrapped around the outside of the boiler tank.  The lower tubing is only an inch from the exhaust port and they develop leaks.

Sorry.  I just replaced our boiler.

I hate to ask how my are we talking about.

The big dome? Mine is gone, they just left the mounts there so there were no holes to get leaks.

On the traveler. My wires do not go straight down, they go out. I doubt  there is a hole under mine. Where are your wires?

They make a base plate to go on to help mount the traveler. If you don’t already have it, you could use it to cover over any ring you find

My wires run out from under it to the front of the coach and down through the roof just back from the windshield.
