Thanks all!  Our plan now is to empty slide tray get it out and really get a clear look at all bolts and measure everything to see where it could be mounted off and out of alignment..

We have had nothing but issues with our Kwikee Slide our Storage Tray it does not like to slide out(never really has always a huge chore)!  Checked wheels and greased everything but nothing lasts and we do not even have much on ours that is at all heavy.  So, while looking into replacement parts we started wondering if we had to buy parts why not make it powered 😀

Looking for someone that has converted a manual storage slide tray to powered or at a minimum has changed rails to the newer easy release version?

ARE YOU OUT THERE?????? If so, please respond

Here is a more complete picture of the circuit breakers in our FRB, all installed per Franks document titled "Chassis Multiplex FRB Electrical Fire"

With potential of melted circuit boards or worse yet a fire we decided to be safe rather than sorry by adding the circuit breakers to house and chassis b4 board.

If you do have an 08 you really should not cringe!

After all the attention Brett’s rig has gotten from the lightening strike, which we should all agree is a very one off experience.  I would like to take a poll of anyone here that has had actual issues with their Kongsberg system, with the brain or any of the switches that it controls?  Looking forward to your feedback on your experiences😊

Hi All, On our 2009 Beaver Patriot Thunder we have 2 of the Girard G-2000 awnings and the G1500 door awning and are looking at adding LED lites. Girard makes a specific kit for them at $377 per large awning and $264 for the door.

Seems quite high, wondering if anyone here with these specific awnings has added LEDs and if so did you use the Girard kits or put your own together from some place like Super Brite LEDS? 

Carey, the weep hole covers are awesome! They are a perfect fit don’t think they need any glue or caulk, they are really snug.

We think they look sharp and no more whistling when getting passed!!!!

I suggest you post around on the many Monaco versions of Facebook pages and really get those kids cranking, have never seen an older Monaco that isn’t missing some!

Thanks, we are in the process of rebuilding the broken pieces...

When we discovered ours the, it was so broken that we cant tell what the "door" hooked to for pulling it back and forth, we have the two carabiners with the wire between?

The last time the passenger slide went out this happened...( see pics)

No unusual noise when it happened, just broken when slide landed out...

Thinking someone has had to repair this on a later year rig where there is virtually no access to this area unless you are the size of a toddler.

As someone defined it to me its the very thin "roll top desk like piece" that took the beating, it appears that the rolling mechanism has probably failed? Hate to even try to take the "roll top" piece out might never get it back in...but sure open to suggestions from others who's may have failed.

I have attached a pic of our dash tuner/camera in the current set-up both are Kenwood.

My question is has anyone rewired the rear/side cameras from the right screen to be viewed thru the unit Kenwood (kvt-516)on the left?  It looks to me like that unit can support video? Screen is good and its in a easier place to check while on the road.

We find the position of the current camera monitor on the right and down low to be in a really inconvenient place.  If we can move the camera view to a better location on the left thru the current unit, then we can replace the current camera view monitor with a new audio unit that is more user friendly and that the passenger can easily access. It would be great to change this without having the replace everything cost wise and proceeding down into the usual redo rabbit hole!
