 The plastic  gears are still available, metal gears are also. I have replace the gear .Back to a plastic gear .But carry a metal replacement also

Check dirty air cleaner,  Different  in the fuel more bio diesel? Different  in the weather.  Per chance  you purchase   some winter blend fuel mileage  will drop.good luck finding  the issue

Some times  are coach  has the light come on if I'm  plug in and start up the coach also starting up the genator  running  down the road. Has come on

Had same issue on are 2007 monaco knight. In ares in the front electric compartment. Small relay that know to fail it plugs into  the  circuit board. I watch  a U tube a  gentleman  was working  on a monaco  same issue .
