  1. Wow Jeff.  That's great.  As you can probably tell, I'm new at this.  The coach is still at the shop.  I pick it up tomorrow.

Yes I have MH3000 and an ISL 400

I'd love to bounce another question by you but I don't want to screw up this thread.  How do I do that?

Is it save to run without something over the fill tube?

  2. The shop that I used, Eagles Pride, knows my tranny serial number and ordered one from Allison.  When it arrived, it was only 2 to 3 feet long.  They believed it was wrong.  I've seen on this forum that not having a dip stick is not unusual.  Is that true?

I live in a 1600 property HOA where every property has an enclosed RV garage or a pad big enough for an RV that's covered or uncovered.

Most of the community uses Eagles Pride to do their work.

I DO use the keypad.  Do I or don't I need to have a dip stick?

I've seen on the forum where doors won't open because of an issue with the door seal.

My problem is little different (not a big problem).  With the engine running and after I put it in neutral, I get up from the seat to open the door and it won't open.  Eventually, after a minute or or so, I'll be able to open the door.

Is this unusual or do I need to be more patient.

Now, every time I want to get out of the coach if it's running, I'm turning the coach off.

  4. Back with my meeting with the Mobile RV guys.

There was absolutely NO hydraulic fluid in the reservoir under the step. Thanks Jeff for telling me where reservoir was located.

Thanks Tom.  I'll be much more careful with the slides in the future.  Thanks Ivan for the answer.

We followed the lines through the bays and to the 3 slide outs.  Could not find a leak.  I'll carry extra fluid.  I should probably have the lines replaced?

Thank you everyone for the help.  I'm very grateful.  The slides work perfect!

I guess in the future, everyone needs to start with me at 1 + 1 = 2

  5. First time "shakedown" camping trip our new to us with 2005 Monaco Dynasty.

All went well.  Getting ready to leave and ran into trouble.  Retracted passenger side bedroom slide and got stuck just before full close.

Tried to move out/in and just get "whooring" sound from the front of the coach.  Two front slides would not move either and same sound trying to retract.

Driver side rear bedroom slide retracted well (electric?).

    Waiting on mobile RV help.

Luckily, I was smart enough to just stay at a KOA 20 minutes from home.

    Any help is appreciated.

  6. Thank you all.  From what I understand, for a 50 degree wheel cut, you should start your turn when your body is at the the intersection.  I''ll start there and make sure I'm looking in my mirrors.  when I purchased the motorhome, I drove it on multiple types of roads and on different intersections to make sure I was "reasonably" comfortable.  Right after I brought it home (and backed into my attached garage) I had double fusion on my back.  So I'm sitting at home waiting to get my hands on it!

    Thanks again.

Okay not a great picture but there is the tire placard from 33,000 lb GVW 2005 Holiday Rambler ambassador for comparison

I'm a brand new 2005 Monaco owner - where does one find this placard in the Coach?
