  1. I'm looking for drawer slides. They lock in place when closed, you need to lift up to open. I believe they are KV but able to locate a source.
  2. Not able to locate replacement locking drawer slides for our 2004 Beaver. Does anyone know who still stocks the Monaco drawer slides ? TIA
  3. Throgmartin, Thanks for reply I ordered slide toppers from you in 7/2015 and installed myself. The thread held up for the 5 years they were installed. They were beginning to discolor and sag after 5 years as fabric stretched and water pooled in center of panels. I replaced yours with Tough Top in 6/2020. Mainly because Tough Top was local and would install. After 3 years the Tough Top vinyl is discolored & hardened and the thread is failing badly. As I am 73 now and am not interested in installing myself , I am looking for other options. Definitely will not use or recommend Tough Top though. Darrell Terry
  4. Cowpoke - Do you recall how much Elite charged you to install your slide toppers ? How many slides on your RV ? I contacted Elite last week to adjust one of my slides and repair slide seals but they were 2 months out on available appointments.
  5. Any recommendations for slide topper purchase and installation in the Eugene area. Noticed the stitching is failing and will need to replace soon. Any help/info appreciated. Darrell Terry
  6. dl_racing427, Thanks , That's what I figured after the results I posted. I ordered a new gauge from AutoMeter that is similar and comes with sender. Hopefully that will solve my issue. Thanks to all who responded with ideas and suggestions.
  7. I also did as dl racing 427 suggested ; I shorted wire to RV frame with ignition both off and on and still had full scale deflection of gauge.
  8. With Datcon sending unit installed Wire not connected - ignition off - full right deflection Wire not connected - ignition on - Full right deflection Wire on S connection - ignition off - full right deflection Wire on S connection - ignition on - full right deflection Wire on WR connection - ignition off - full right deflection Wire on WR connection - ignition on - full right deflection Should I try same with the VDO sending that Cummins had installed ?
  9. I'm starting to think I might have a Ground issue. The paperwork that came with Datcon pressure sender says "ground is through case - Make sure it's connected" There is only one wire on my RV which I assume runs to dash gauge. Three questions 1) Should I attach a ground to Sending unit ? Maybe with a hose clamp as there is no lug for ground. 2) With Datcon sender that I purchased - which blade connector should I connect to the single wire to gauge ? WR - (Warning switch ) or S - (Signal output) 3) The VDO sender that Cummins installed and deflects fully to right, also has two connection lugs - ( G ) and (WK) Is the G for Ground ? Very confusing Tapped several times - Didn't work
  10. The oil pressure sender I purchased has two terminals; WR - Warning Switch ( Narrow blade) S - Signal Output ( Wide Blade) I attached wire to S - Signal Output I did not try WR as I assumed it was for an Idiot Light
  11. No - They tossed it. I returned to see if they figured out how to fix it several days later, but they had no idea what was wrong.
  12. Engine oil pressure on our 350 Cummins ISC was always 75 lbs pressure. On trip to Oregon - My oil pressure gauge read - with engine "off" 30 PSI.When engine running it rose to 125 PSI.Asked Cummins in Coberg to check it out during May oil change and road check.Cummins replaced the oil pressue sender that Monaco installs adjacent to oil filter. My oil pressure guage is now fully deflected to right - no movement at all - pegged to far right of gauge.Cummins told me they must have installed wrong OHM sender but did not know what sender was needed. I have researched internet and found that I needed a 0-100 PSI sender with 33 -240 ohms.I purchased a Datcon pressure sender from Amazon with those exact spec's.Nothing - The gauge is still pegged to full deflection and no movement with or without the wire connected.Do you think Cummins damaged my gauge with an incorrect sender or something else ?Any help appreciated
  13. Thanks Steven - I found RV Cams on a Google search for my Sony camera model and ordered a new camera that connects to the Sony wiring harness. Hopefully that will fix my problem. Before camera died I was getting blue vertical lines on the screen. If not, I will certainly contact Tim for further help. My video feed displays on my Alladin system only. I don't have an additional screen like your setup. Very nice !
  14. I purchased a 10" X 30" scrap piece for $10 at a Plastics store in Eugene,OR.
  15. The oil sending unit on my 350 ISC Turbo failed. Does anyone have the part number # to order a new sender ? I took RV to Cummins in Coburg and the one they ordered did not work. It's been a week and they still don't have an answer for me. Also, can the sender be removed and changed with oil in sump or does oil need to be drained before replacing ? Thanks Darrell Terry
  16. Replaced the mounting plate for all switches and emergency brake at left side of drivers seat.Everything works except Mirror adjusting control. Is there a fuse for Mirror control toggle ? If yes, does anyone know where locations is ?Any thoughts or suggestions ?2004 Beaver Monterey
  17. Left California and rear camera was not operational. I turned off/on several times and finally got it to work. As soon as I shut down power for the night it would not operate again nor when we resumed trip the next day. The rear camera does work when I'm backing up but does operate when driving down the road. Any ideas where to begin my search. Rear camera works fine while backing up only - grey screen while driving forward. http://beaveramb.org/forum/Themes/default/images/icons/modify_inline.gif
  18. Renewing my RV insurance.Currently have combined single limit of 500K /500K/ 500K with a 1,000,000 Umbrella. Am I over - insuring ?Have a quote that saves me quite a bit if I lower to 250/500/100 with a 1,000,000 UmbrellaDarrell
  19. Ivylog - Thanks, will keep for a while to make sure not needed or if I ever decide to reuse.
  20. Thank you for the info and IRV2 thread. I ordered the parts yesterday and will install next week. Pictures with dimensions really helped.
  21. Where do I find the information on replacing scissor arm with gas strut ? Specifically dimension from door edge to mounting plates and pictures if they are available. Have searched gas strut replacement, scissor arm upgrade, RV door upgrade with no results. Any guidance appreciated. I found a U Tube video but the entry door was square and not slanted as most Beavers so wasn't sure if dimensions would apply. 2004 Beaver Monterey
  22. Our 2004 Monterey has 2 heat pumps and 2 thermostats. The thermostats only control the zone where they are located. Can I use my existing 5 button thermostat on my existing rear heat pump and purchase a CCCII thermostat to use for the new front heat pump since the units operate separately ?If this is possible, I would not need the adapter board I keep hearing about that is on back ordered.Any help appreciated
  23. Lost my front heat pump this week. Where do I locate the serial number to confirm I order the correct replacement ? 2004 Beaver Monterey Darrell Terry I found Model & Serial number on Data Card in bathroom cabinet. I don't know if heat pump was replaced prior to my ownership. Where on actual heat pump can I find Model & Serial number ? Thanks,
  24. Thank you for responses. Dr4Film, thanks for the link, great information.
