  1. I was interested in the Foxwell unit you mentioned so I emailed the company, he asked for my coach VIN# which I provided and here is the response I received just now:

"We are very sorry, Foxwell does not currently have scanners that support the function you need. Our engineers are still working hard to develop more features, thank you for your interest in Foxwell".
  2. On my 2003 Holiday Rambler Vacationer, I lost 12v power to my Carefree awning. I also noticed that the compass and outside temperature LED on the instrument panel of my dashboard is out. Any chance they could be connected? Is there a fuse for the compass & temp LED? Location?

  3. I have a 2003 Holiday Rambler Vacationer - Gas with a Magnum MS2012 2000 Watt Pure Sine Inverter. When I bring the coach into the shop for maintenance my concern is keeping the Inverter on. I know I can shut off the AGS (Automatic Generator Start) but my concern is, will keeping the Inverter on run down my batteries especially if the coach is in the shop for multiple days? According to Magnum Energy, the only way to avoid running down the batteries is to disconnect the positive battery cable. I don't have a clue how to do that but I guess turning off the Inverter using the On/Off button on the ARC remote will not accomplish this. I am sure everyone at some point has had this occur. What do you do? Thoughts?

  4. If you are ever in California in the Fremont, Union City, Tracy area and in need of an excellent mechanic who is also quite reasonable and more importantly a Mobile Repair service, GN Mobile Truck & RV Repair 510-712-1871 or 510-978-1223 is the one to call. I got stuck, got towed to a safe parking area, he came and spent 6 hours on Wednesday and 5 hours on Thursday to complete the job. I never had to move the coach and we were able to stay inside the coach the entire time.

  5. The last 2 days I was dry camping using the water pump. Yesterday I shut off the water pump and traveled to an RV Park. I am currently hooked up to city water. The water pump switch is off but every minute or so I hear the water pump sound like it is providing water to the coach. Why would I hear the water pump?

  7. Hey Larry, good hearing from you. When I went to the RV760 web group, I did see the 2 responses but I am not getting email notices alerting me there is a reply to my question. I checked the settings and it shows I request individual emails but none coming through.

Thanks for your reply and all the best.

  8. Instead of bothering all Monacoers group with questions about the Garmin 760, we started a separate group on Yahoo "Garmin RV 760." Many of the Monacoers who had the RV 760 GPS unit were part of that group. I tried sending an email to that group but it came back non deliverable. Hopefully that explains it.

  9. I tried sending a message using the old Garmin RV 760 but it appears it is no longer in use.

Anyone using the RV 1090. I have the RV 760 and looking to trade it in for the RV 1090 and would like some comments on its use.

  10. Someone posted here to make sure we order the "vented ones." Do all covers have the vents? Is there a difference between vents or no vents? Also, It seems that if you order on Amazon the product is from iondirect and is cheaper than if you ordered from the iondirect website.

  11. I have a Fisher Paykel residential with 4 Trojan lead batteries and a 2000 watt Magnum Pure sine inverter and have never had a problem running the residential and everything else when boon docking. I can run without shore power off the inverter for at least 12 hours. So, I'm not sure what inverter you have but your problem doesn't seem right to me.
