  1. Coach dash is dead. I am plugged in and the everything on the Coach side is working however the chassis side is dead. I noticed the air leveling system panel was flashing red this morning and when checking it out found that it's not responding and when I turned the key on nothing happens. Everything was functioning on the leveling system last night. I haven't had any issues with anything. I turned off and on the salesman switch with  no luck. Where should I check 1st.

  2. I have a similar issue with my heater fan. everything was fine last night This morning the heater fan isn't working at any speed. I found the fuses and removed, checked and reinstalled since none were burned out. I reset the Duo Therm per the instructions. The thermostat is functioning normally for A/C & heat pump, The furnace function operates the fan under the dash storage as usual but not the kitchen fan. The Intellitec button for the fan speed functions as normal and lights up when pressed 1,2,3 and off on 4 but still nothing with the fan.  Suggestions?

  3. The repair is complete. I used rare earth magnet to locate the screws on the left side. It stuck to the carpet multiple times but no screws. It turned out that the panel was nailed to in place with about 20 nails ... what a PIA. I had to remove the wood panel to expose the mechanism. It was attached with Velcro patches and glue. I found two bolts missing and 2 bolts loose. I also found the large bolt was indeed a set bolt. New bolts were install and existing tightened utilizing lock washers and Loctite. I checked the other side of the slide and found everything good and tight. I was lucky to catch this before all 4 bolts worked their way free.

  4. I was cleaning the RV and found 2 nuts that came off of something behind a panel in my bedroom slide. I have attached images of the nuts and the panel I am trying to remove to see where the nuts need to be reinstalled. There is one screw on the face of the panel on the right side that loosens that side but nothing on the left. When I raise the bed there is no access that I can see to remove any screws holding that side of the panel. Looking for suggestions.

    Thanks

  5. I am in Casa Grande AZ and want to schedule an appointment to go through my RV and make repairs to my leveling system and some coach issues. I have an extended platinum warranty that will expire at the end of April so I need to utilize as much as I can before it expires. I want a facility that is familiar with Monaco coaches to go through rig.

  6. My cousin has a 2006 Monaco Executive that is new to him and he is slowly replacing items. He is traveling in Florida and the Opus 3110 has stopped working. He thinks it's the motor since the control panel appears to be functioning. He has torn it apart to see if maybe an arm broke but everything appears fine. He is considering replacing with a new toilet   Aria Deluxe II  https://www.thetford.com/product/aria-deluxe-ii/  .  Does anyone have experience with swapping out the Opus to the Aria?  It looks pretty straight forward. He is in Fort Meyers heading to Naples today.

  7. I have the number for the rear air spring on my 2007 Monaco Executive (W01-358-8897). I am looking for the number for the front bags. I believe that they are the same but not sure. I am working to resolve a small leak on the right side of the rig and have replaced 4 rear bags previously and figure I might as well replace the remaining bags. Also, my aux compressor is filling all air tanks and not just the ping tank which takes about 25 minutes on average. Any suggestion on how to correct this problem is appreciated.

  8. This is a strange problem. My rig maintains auto level and the front and rear air gauge show 100psi steady when parked and control panel is on with key off. NO LEAKS.  When i install the fuse to the aux compressor the rig begins to lose level and leans to the driver side as much as 3 degrees after an hour. The aux compressor turns on and runs for 15 to 20 minutes before turning off but the coach does not re-level automatically. I need to push the auto button to bring it back to level but it begins to tilt to driver side again with 30 minutes. It does maintain level front to back at all times.  Also the aux compressor turn on every 2 to 3 hours for 15 to 20 minutes.

  9. I use google and other online maps but my favorite are the US atlas and individual state road and recreational state maps. I use different colored highlighters for different year travels. I will highlight the roads we traveled in yellow for 2019 for example and blue for 2020 etc.  I also make notes on the maps regarding roads I like and those I will never travel again. I find them fun to review where we have traveled and where we have not explored, They also help in planning. We like to try different routes to favorite destinations whenever we can.

  10. I have friends that purchased a 2006 Monaco Executive in Mississippi last week and are traveling to Lubbock where it will be stored until late December. They are compiling a long laundry list of items that need to be done on the rig. Does anyone have recommendations of quality service centers in the area? Thanks

If you have a situation where there are short sections, maybe 5 bulbs or so that are out try this prior to replacing. With the lights on put your fingers together and rap on the light hard. You hopefully will be pleasantly surprised that they come on. I had a few areas like this and it worked for me.

    good luck

I've done that in some locations and it works for a while. Some were burned at the connector and I trimmed back and reconnected but the time has come to update and replace unfortunately.

You might want to think about converting all your rope lights to LED Strip Lights.

A very good source for LED Strip Lights is SuperBrightleds.com

I purchased from them when I converted my 05 Exec over to LEDs. Competively priced and very good customer service

I am on their website and looking at my options. I am interested in what was involved in your switch since we basically have the same coach.

  12. I need to replace rope lighting throughout my RV. Ceiling lights, window lights and base cabinet lights. Some work some do not so I plan to replace all. They are 12v two prong connectors. I am looking for recommendations on type of replacements and company to purchase from.

    Thanks,

  13. We are on our trip south for the winter and have several items that must be repaired. I have a solid chassis shop in Albuquerque but have yet to find a good coach repair facility. We were planning on having work done at REV in Coburg last April but we all know why that didn't happen. My most recent repair need is a broken main slide lock. I have a list of about ten items. Any good recommendations as we travel from Taos NM to Casa Grande AZ?
