  1. I love my Executive but I'm finding that it's not a good match for me as a solo traveler. I also have a 2014 Jeep Wrangler that is equipped with the Air Force One braking system that I would be willing to sell in addition to the coach. Please see the ad in RVTrader for all the details. https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2005-Monaco-EXECUTIVE+40PBDD-5017740218
  2. Thanks for the advice Dr4Film. That was basically the only path forward I could see other than a friend that asked if I had a SawzAll. In the end a well meaning park employee managed to break the key off in the lock after we both had tried to get some more movement out of it for what seemed like hours. At that point I assumed the lock was a goner so I used a large common screwdriver and was able to spin the lock back where it should be. Amazingly, it opened. With the door open I found that the fob would now work on it! Too late! I decided that I would never mind if someone was desperate to steal my sh*t they would be welcome to it. I unplugged the door lock for that door. Come to think of it, why would you even want a lock on that door?
  3. I'm sure this has happened before but I'm not having any luck searching for it. I was preparing to move out in the morning and have found that the basement door for access to my sewer connection will not open. All of the other electric locks are behaving. When I try to use the key it will not budge. I tested it on the door next to it and it works fine. I've tried spraying inside with WD-40 silicone but it hasn't made any difference. The bottom of the door will lift out but the two upper latches are latched solid. One of the hose access plugs could probably be unscrewed from the bottom to get to the inside but I don't know how to unlatch it from there. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Alan IMG_6553.HEIC
  4. Thanks to all for your replies. The accumulator bladder was burst so I found a replacement tank at a local plumbing supply. It was a genuine bear to get the tank out! I also put a valve in the line so I can isolate it in the future if need be. Thanks for that suggestion. Performance wise the water pressure and pump cycling times are greatly improved!
  5. 2005 Executive - I have traced a fresh water leak to the connection to the pressure accumulator tank. The area it is located in is jammed with plumbing, Aqua-hot valves, wiring bundles, etc. and it is nearly impossible to get to this fitting. The only way I could figure out where the leak was coming from was to snake a fiber-optic camera into this mess. So far I have not been able to determine which line is supplying the tank. It's REALLY tight in there. My question, is the supply line flexible and would there be enough length to allow the tank to be lowered to repair the connection? The tank is held up by a couple of large band clamps. It seems like it would be easy enough to bring the tank down to access the connection but I'm in a small town with few repair resources. Right now I can turn the pump on for a few seconds to have water and then let the pressure immediately bleed to stop the leak. If I pull it down and break a line I might be without water at all. As a follow-on, has anyone ever added a pressure regulator to the internal water pump. I have a high quality pressure regulator at the city water supply side but the internal pump supplies up to 75 psi. I don't really need that kind of pressure and I think with aging plumbing is not a good idea. Thanks for any guidance.
  6. Shop mechanic diagnosed a problem with my Transmission and Coolant temperature gauges. I was hoping it was just a loose ground but he says they fail their own self test and that the four gauge cluster must be replaced. They called the manufacturer and were told that they don't make them anymore and they can't repair them. The Faria part number is: SG8006A. I'd be interested to learn of places this might be found but also I'm wondering if anyone has replaced them with something else. I can still get to the data via Aladdin but you really do need to have those gauges working in case something goes wrong while you're not on that page in the Aladdin.
