Hi Mike, I did the install myself with the exception of the steering box, and in stages.
-
I installed the Watts Link on the front, the X bars on the rear. The handling improved quite a bit. I also installed the TRW steering box.

I’ll have a closer look in a little bit.
Thanks, this group is simply awesome.

Thanks 96 EVO, I’m going to have a closer look, it “seems” like I have everything exposed. Hopefully the rain will let up and I’m giving my back a rest too 🤷♂️

Looking at Lipperts site I see the 5/8” on slides where the mechanism is located under the slide in the basement. I don’t see it on this slide. Starting to rain here so I’m on standby.
Thanks for your input.

Having an issue with my road side bedroom slide on my 2008 Knight 38PDQ. It will not come in when hitting the switch, it does make a noisy rattling sound and always has. This time it made the noise but didn't move. I have everything exposed to work on the unit which the tag says it is a Lippert above floor sofa slide, LCI model #114754. The motor and gears that I can see are ok. There is a shaft with a hole in it maybe to manually get the slide to move? I may have to give the slide a push from outside? Any ideas from the knowledge base here would be greatly appreciated!

So sorry for your loss, our German Shepard almost made it 15 years. Kind and gentle was our Elle. Our faithful animals are 10-20 years of our lives…but we are ALL of their lives.

I too originally thought the Nason switches up front were the root of the problem. I located the manufacturer and learned of a 45 day wait on manufacturing for two. Went looking elsewhere, my bet is on the relay front or rear.
-
I had the same problem on my 08 Knight, I believe one of the relays in the FRB was the culprit. Very stupidly I pulled several and tested not really knowing which one was faulty. The “switches” on the firewall we’re fine.

Thank you! I’m going to save that number…
This group is simply amazing!

Looking for headlight switch for 2008 Knight, looked in the parts list to no avail. I think it was from a GM model vehicle?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

I finally found the low beam fuse turned the lights out.
Pretty much still looking for the culprit.
Thanks all!

Thanks Tim, no smart wheel on the Knight model. And as I’m reading some of the posts here…I’m glad I don’t, lol.

...2008 Knight, lights remain on after shutdown. Second time this has happened, do not remember how I got them shut off last year. I have removed light switch from dash and attempted to unplug switch from plug. It was getting dark so I turned off the battery switches, lights still on. Unplugged from 50 amp and all went dark literally. This happened after a wash at Blue Beacon. Steps also quit working.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to all those in this awesome group!!

Just went through this for the second time. Sure is easier if caught early and using old cable to route new cable through. Attached is the direct replacement cable kit on Amazon. Got mine in two days.
I’m sure you will need to disassemble the wood trim around the interior of the slide and hopefully see how it was routed. YouTube is helpful also.
Good luck!

I too have solved a few dilemmas with the knowledge of the many kind folks on here! A hearty THANK YOU to you all.

I had the same problem and the remedy was a replacement of the GFCI located in the bathroom. I installed a 10 amp outlet and actually needed a 20 amp.
If you find that outlet make sure you replace with a like outlet.

Hi Greg, I’ve never gone as far as removing the shower door, wish I could be of more assistance!
Good luck!
