I emailed with Tim at RVCAMS.com and he had a new replacement camera for nearly $300. I had to check around and eBay was the winner…$106 shipped. New in the box and direct replacement part. I’ll update the post after install.

Thanks all, I got it.

Thank you!

I did the Watts link on the front, took my time, a two day project. The crossbars on the rear of my 08 Knight38PDQ, was a one day project. Did both mods by myself. Pretty straightforward assembly.
l bet you can do it.

Please accept my apology as I have been out of pocket (new granddaughter) and unable to read, much less respond to all the posts regarding the Brake light situation. After perusing the previous posts it appears as though the situation has been "handled"? I see the PN for the Nason switch has been published as well as the suppliers. If I can be of any assistance further, please let me know.
And a huge shoutout to the moderators of this page who have assisted with the education of my Monaco!

Thank you Tom. I have contacted some distributors and they all said 10 week lead time, $47 each.

The search continues for these switches. Best I’m getting is is a 10 week lead time to manufacture the parts. Still searching other outlets.

Will do Ken.

I have contacted Nason about the switch for brake lights…they say they stock virtually nothing. BUT sent me the name of a company in Ohio that orders this switch regularly. I was too late to call on Friday and sent an email instead. Looking forward to getting the brake lights working! Will post if I make progress with the supplier.

Thanks Ken, I’ll check it out.

I have searched through the files to no avail...No brake lights, fuse good in rear compartment. I see on the firewall the air brake actuator (?) with two attached components with 3 wires coming from both.
Looked as best I could at the brake pedal and did not see a switch there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! TIA

Replying to Ivan K… my safe was bolted to a piece of one inch board and that board was held in place by four wood screws. (If memory serves) I did remove the door that hides the safe also.
-
I actually removed my safe and took into a local locksmith who “cracked” the safe and gave me instructions to reset the combo. It was pretty easy to do.

I had a similar issue on our 08 Knight38PDQ. Never did figure out what was happening! Note…when the engine started to die out the voltmeter started to drop and the wipers would really slow down too. I pretty much just don’t drive in the rain anymore!

Rookie electrican mistake…ASSUMED receptacles were same/universal, old GFCI has Line on bottom, load on top, wired backwards. Ended up pulling wires out far enough to see what I was doing, identified line wires finally!
Many thanks to all who replied!!What an awesome group!
sooo…I assumed and it made an ASS out of me!

Can’t wait to get home and test it all! Wife wants to camp an additional day…I want to get home and fix it!

Last night the wife went to use microwave and it worked! Wow, some cerebral flatulence going on there! I have some hope now the inverter is ok! Still have to wait until we get home to check it all out.
Things are looking better!
Take cable apart?
