  1. Anyone need a pair of new shocks to replace Monroe 66871. I ordered 2 and received 5šŸ˜† and Amazon said keep them. free to a good home. Just shipping. I will find out for sure but I am guessing it would be around $20 they are Monroe Ā  M555014

  2. I was only running the refrigerator on electric because my one water heater was leaking a little propane outside and I had the refrigerator running for about 36 hours before I put food in it and all the food was cold . ThanksĀ

  3. I just got back from my first two nighter and I had some trouble with my dometic refrigerator.Ā I was plugged in for the whole weekend and the freezer was about 20Ā° and the refrigerator was about58. The unit is about five years old and isĀ Ā gas and electric. Also one of my gas water heaters was leaking a little propane through the orifice once the thermostat shut it off I am assuming I need a new gas valve. I appreciate any suggestions thanks

  4. So here is an update. Yea itā€™s running! Turned out to be the new points. After hours of trouble shooting other things I took them out and sanded them and cleaned Ā with acetone and it fired right up. I should have done that before I put them in. Thanks for all the help and input. On to the next projectĀ

  5. It has one of each . One on each side of the coil. The parts catalog said one was theĀ condenser and the other was a capacitor I have never seen that but I replaced them both just in case

Ray, thanks for the diagram. I may have miss spoke about which side of the coil these wires go to but the points and condenser are on one side and the capacitor is on the other side and because the coil is all the way in the back I obviously thought the points and condenser weā€™re on the positive side but that must be the negative side I will double check in the morning thanksĀ

  6. The condenser body is grounded and the wire goes to the positive side of the coil. The capacitor body is grounded and goes to the negative side of the coil. I have the points gapped at 20Ā I have also tested it without the capacitor on the negative side of the coil. I also stuck a screwdriver in the coil and touched it with my finger to see if the spark was weak but there was nothing
