At some point soon we will have to replace our 08 units. New versions of the same model are pricey and hard to locate
So looking for options and suggestions

The only thing I can think of as the transfer case switch is electric Maybe there concerned it might become engaged
Been towing a Sonic for years start it am n pm no problems

Going to add a new towed. We use a redi brake system so no power drain. The manual says disconnect negative cable. Ok no problem but wondering why

Bob thanks for the lead. I was able to also locate them at E trailer. Bit more cost but I think better quality

After several years of service I have one with a slow leak. Looking for suggestions on where to buy a replacement 12" hose for the inner

Solved
loose connections in the surge guard. We check the ATS yearly for loose connections but had not opened the PD unit since it was installed. So added it to the PM list

Definitely the click comes from the Progressive. Helpful folks i need to run down how long it takes to connect as the next step
-
Tom I think so to waiting for them to be open to call. Attached is the info on that unit
-
Tom you are correct the rely is normally closed . I found the attached information good to keep.
So I assume the click is in the Progressive box. But I thought it was mostly circuit boards when I had it open last.
-
Tom going to check the connections n the am. The sequence has always been plug in turn breaker progressive lights up giving L1 info then L2 then any error code then we hear a click They are side by side so not sure where the click came from
Now we get the same sequence on the progressive no error code but no power in the coach. About 3 or 4 min we hear a click and have power
Good info I will have to see if I can run those test. Might be above my head

Bill I haven't had a chance to check that out yet

Installed this a few years back when the old one was recalled. The issue now is it it takes several minutes before it clicks in, it use to take only a moment after the Progressive Industries surge protector reads power. It shows good power and no issues.

Still on going problem, readjusted the door it opens about midway through the travel both latches release at the same time seems to be catching both strikers at the second click. Opens and closes great in the driveway
BUT drive a bit and we get an audible click and the door is now loose. Using the dead bolt till we get home
?????????????

Thanks for the tip. Can't make it this year
-
I think the striker bolt coming loose may be the issue. The outside and inside handles both open at half travel, both latches click open at the same time.
So I am going back to the way we did it for the last few years. Losen the striker bolts a bit close and open the door three times and then lock them down. Worked in the past so hope for the future.
Thanks to all for your help
-
Might be it is puzzling as the door is closed firmly when we start out. I did find the top striker bolt loose

I adjusted the door using the good info here. However now we close it tightly but after a few miles the bottom latch pops open
The striker bolts are floating and need a good tug to move them around
i did notice the outside handle is almost at the end of the travel when it opens

Tom I need to chase this a bit. I thought turning off the battery switch put everything to sleep But I may be wrong I will check it out
-
Tom great information yes it is hard wired on this model. After reading your note it confirms what I thought it might be in that the inverter has a slight draw plus the other small things
I figure if we park it off power for a few days the thing to do is turn the battery master off
Thanks for the quick help. No on to chasing other small issues
-
I have a new Magnum inverter , new remote, new batteries. When fully charged the remote indicates 1 amp. Turning the salesmans switch on works as planned but no change from 1 amp. Is normal parasitic from things like microwave clock, CO2 and propane alarms
-
Away from the coach but chasing a problem. Where do the jacks draw power from. House batteries or start batteries
-
Myron I will post what I find. Rev shows available under the a different pn that I found in a drawing in some files you sent me a while back. But a bit expensive and doesn't look like the one on the coach
Chasing now the Haladex pn listed in the parts list on this site. I am seeing different specs for the open / closed psi for the pn on line then what Rev shows
They show 60 close open 65 psi The Haldex KN 3100 seems to NA most places but there are several alt
Let You know what we find
