  1. That is what I did.  I unscrewed the 4 star screws and carefully pulled out the controller.  Then I unplugged the controller power and data connection, waited 30 seconds and plugged the data in first then the power.  Worked for awhile (few months) but had to finally replace the controller.

    Good Luck!

  2. Hi Mike,

My fuse is in the drivers side outside fuse bay.   It is a square box like fuse.   Is your leak coming from the air bag?  I stopped using the pump as it is very loud. I pulled the fuse.  What I do is use the auto level to get it level then I change to manual.

  3. Hi Bob,

On my 2008 Dynasty, the switch controls an electrical 2 way valve connected to the water system near the water pump.  Mine failed and the water continued to run.  I replaced mine with an identical valve, took the old one apart and found it to be clogged with rust, etc.  you can also purchase a rebuild kit.

I purchased mine from Galloup/ Smith instrument.  Part # 8210G94 1/2 inch Brass 2 way NC 12VDC 40 PSI CV 4 ASCO valve.

  4. Hi Brad,

I use the Battery Minder.  I have 4 flooded lead interstate batteries in series and parallel at 420 amp-hour each.  Been on for 6 months with no issue.

I paid $169 which seems a little pricy, but got my recommendation on this forum.  Haven't been disapointed.

  5. Hi Ron,

You can give Valid (they are in Canada) a call and ask for Lucus .  I didn’t have the exact issue with mine, but similar on my passenger front.  Lucus  was exceptionally helpful.  He can help diagnose the issue and supply any need parts.

I replaced all 6 solenoids in the front 6 pack and one valve rod and seal as the valve on the passenger raise valve was leaking.  This may be the problem with your ride height valve.

  6. As Dwight said, I got mine from Harbor Freight - 12 tons each and do the front and back one at a time.  I also built 2 ramps stacked in a ramp shape they are about 9 in high and 5 feet long. Easy to drive up on.  Cost about $60 in materials.

  7. Hi Connie,

I believe they are Carling rocker switches.  Do a google search for them. I have had to replace 2 of these in my dash.  Got them on eBay.

  8. Hi Mark,

I have traveled this route on 3 trips from Flagstaff to Cortez to Pueblo on our way to Monument CO.  I drive a 2008 Dynasty 425 Cummins towing a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk.  The only semi-tough summit is Wolf Creek, but I take it slow and it has always been relatively easy.  I think that part of Colorado is well worth the time and effort, but that is MHO.

What engine do you have in your Diplomat?

Safe Travels what ever you decide!

  9. Thank you all for your input.  It is the battery temperature sensor for the solar.  It’s a Heliotrope Controller sensor as Keven said.  I looked up the wiring diagram for the controller and it is put between two batteries to get a temp.

    Again, thanks!

  10. Hi all,

Wondering if anyone has seen a connection like this before?  Changing out house batteries and I discovered this in the battery bay after removing old batteries. Was not attached to batteries as far as I could tell.

    thanks for any help

  11. It looks to me as the ride height valve.  Had one go out in my 2008 Dynasty while on the road.  Right side went down.

Are you camped?  Did the leak begin when camping or on the road?
