  1. Such great input. Used the pictures to replace pump (HWH says it wasn't there's, but an HWH pump was on backorder with no ETA in sight) I did have them rebuild the two control boxes - fast and very inexpensive. Used a Viair IG with a new solenoid and relayed pressure switch. Decided tp leave it where it was but may enclose it sometime. (It's on the todo list) Works great, especially when you fix all the air leaks and rebuild the six packs. Good for another 50K miles.

  2. Some wise sage (on this site) suggested I change to Duracell 6v AGM's (Sam's) for the house batteries vs. wet. I had a fair amount of gassing and buildup with the old wet cells. Installed them a couple of years ago. I look at them on my monthly system check, but that's about all. More expensive than wet and less expensive than Lithium, I feel the trade off is positive since I don't have to mess around cleaning them and the bay every month or so.

  3. Just got an email re the breakup of NAPA and AITA.  Not sure how I heard of the AITA NAPA discount card (maybe here) but sorry to see it no longer honored by NAPA. Used it all over the US for most parts for coach and cars, even tractor batteries. There were great discounts. AITA claims $500,000,000 revenue generated by the use of their card.  Still available for Truck Pros but does require a new free card download.

  4. I'm working on replacement number 2 in 3 years. Last one done by a Mobile glass installer on site. Not good. I requested new seals but they didn't bring them. So the seals started to pop out right away.  Glass started fracturing within months. The problem is with a one piece, there is so much weight that if it is not installed perfectly, you are going to have problems. I spoke to a rv glass shop in Orlando (referred by Insurance Co) a couple of years ago who was very familiar with this issue. Best case is to have a shop do the work on premises. I wish I could remember the shop name (owner is Chris) now that I need to do another replacement. May end up going to Lazy Days. I've watched them do a one sheet over several days. Very exacting process. The insurance companies don't seem to mind and I don't want to do this any more than I have to!

  5. I replaced the halogen bulb only with an LED replacement bulb IN 2017. Kept the original receptacle. The retrofit Samsung LED's plug right in. Think I bought about 80. Dimmable and come in ww, cool w, natural.  I used warm white on the wood surfaces and natural light everywhere else (galley, heads, closets). Had no problems so far. M4products. com. Good service, located in Chatsworth, CA.

  6. Interesting, I have the same left side drop issue. Pad still works, sort of. No manual adjustment by station. Travel and raise/lower continue to work. What I've been told is, short of upgrade, is computer box needs a rebuild (no longer made) by HWH. Also need to refurbish all the six packs and air lines. Maybe even the level sensor. My summer project before Seffner! They have been very helpful so far (HWH).

  7. Also use the friction mount (Amazon) for the 760. Very little movement and no holes or sticky residue. Been on some really rough roads that even challenge air ride! Might slide a bit but easy to reposition. That 1090 looks cool. Looking at Silver Leaf integration upgrade.

  8. I have used TST on 3 different rigs. Current setup is 8 tires on coach using flow through caps and 4 tires on toad, Have yet to have issue on this coach (like those big tires!) but has saved my bacon on a couple of times, one in AK just north of Anchorage and one on the I-10 in TX. Like the flow through for the coach since easy to air up if need be. Too heavy for the toad so use the caps. Big plus is I can change the batteries myself with inexpensive OTC batteries. Vulcan has had the best prices.
