    I got it.Sanded and cleaned the shaft more.Then fiquerd how to put more tension on spring. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME

    I've got it apart.Is your spring full length mine is only a foot long with a sponge circle on one end hold it centered so when I try to put tension on the spring the whole spring turns. Thank you for your patience.

    Do you put the tension before you roll it up or after?

    The blind will pull down but will not retract. suspect the spring has broke looking for parts store,or any advice. Thank you.
