  1. Thanks for the great suggestion I will try it, had given up hope of removing…
  2. We used a Scotch spray adhesive for the top and Loctite Epoxy for the front, because we were binding the rubber edge to the stainless front and wanted to be sure it was smooth so no catching a toe!
  3. Thanks! Amazon tried several different versions and these fit the best unfortunately have 4 left over... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y3OKFSQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details Now if I could only get all the fine scratches off the stainless, looks like someone used a scruffy on them... FYI, its raining here today and they are not slippery...
  4. Still in the process of learning our new to us rig and we have begun to make some Mods to make her more ours! Steps were looking old, tired black paint and non skid had seen better days. New paint and rubber step treads and an updated welcome to our door!
  5. We can fix 2 one is completely broken so I will call these guys tomorrow! Thanks😃
  6. That is a great drawing, we actually have 3 will try on one and see how we do and will keep ya posted! Thanks so much😃
  7. Yeah Don, best option yet! That is obviously a weak spot, now that we know being super careful but assume others will fail. When yours broke did you do any research on what models and what years this type was used? Thinking of checking some salvage yards but not sure how to narrow the search. Lots for sale on EBay but on the newer ones brackets are completely different…
  8. We are in search of these parts... for our Slow Rise Roll- up Shades, already checked all the usual places no luck. MCD no longer makes parts for these...they were in a ton of Monaco's for quite a few years. These are out of our 2009 Patriot Thunder. The shades are in great shape, hate to throw them away hate even more the cost of new! If you have any laying around we would love to buy them from you and scab the parts for our shades, so size is a little flexible. You can see where ours broke(very typical) where the rigid part meets the spring. Please reach out if you have any to sell! I will cross post to get to more Monaco owners...
  9. Thanks Gene, working on getting enter closure then a better closure as the one on them is weak!
  10. More great advice ! Yes, we will start picking away at this stuff now that we have some time😃
  11. Final leg of the maiden voyage today and she is tucked resting and badly in need of a bath. Would not want to have a completely trouble free day….the passenger side sunscreen just decided to unwind all on its own and does not seem to want to rewind this is the second one that appears in need of repair. Open to any suggestions or places to repair or buy new? Thanks for all the help and suggestions along the road!
  12. Yesterdays trip Park City to Boise had its own special event, passenger front slide made loud bang sound when coming in at Park City we were too nervous to put it out in Boise to troubleshoot, thought todays trip to Bend would be safer to find help resources if needed. Landed today and after searching around found this…not sure where it came from since can’t find any missing. After disloging it from slide arms everything seems ok🤞 Not to have a day without surprises, while on the road from Boise to Bend went back to turn on A/C and found the Cessna shower door had pretty much come off the rail. A miracle was truly bestowed upon us because we know how difficult and expensive parts can be to acquire and nothing is damaged! pic below bolt in slide arms… Took the shower door off since it was not sitting on the track well. Moved the top rollers and bottom clips and still having trouble getting it to roll even and shut well. Anyone out there that has one that works well that can shoot a pic of where the rollers are set, or can explain would be great! If not, we will keep moving them around but that door is a seriously heavy sucker!💪
  13. Hi attempting to get a handle on the entertainment electronics… Can anyone identify what this A/B switch located over the passenger seat was originally set up to switch?
  14. We are Happy to be considered a “blood” relative!
  15. After picking up our new to us 2009 Patriot Thunder in Denver, we have made it from Denver to Park City on our way to home in Corvallis Oregon…and the trip has truly been eventful! First was the constantly cycling auxiliary compressor resolved by removing the circuit. Followed by the no hot water in the shower crisis resolved with a new shower valve cartridge. Next item bedroom a/c dead, after reaching out to Frank and Tom they helped us begin to troubleshoot… Frank walked us thru every step to come to the solution that the switch that controls the 3rd ac and washer was bad( Frank correct me if I did not use the right name for the part). We learned a lot more than we knew was there to learn through Franks patient direction, found our hidden switch it is in the wall in the pantry of our rig, got to buy a great new tester and now know our way around all 3 units. We can’t even express how grateful we are that this group exists (big kudos to Frank and Tom). These 3 items would have cost plenty to resolve without such great support found here. With each day we are getting more educated on this rig that we really love, but would be very lost without your help! We look forward to the day when some newbie has one of these issues and we can reach out and guide them to resolution! Also, hoping the the next leg to Boise is way less eventful😂😂😂😂
  16. New Moen cartridge and shower water is HOT! Thanks to all 2 less stinky people walking around today! Have noticed that although our pressure regulator is set to 50 psi we are clearly lower than that in house will need to start backtracking to see if the sitting has also created some small blockages along the way… Thanks again!
  17. Thanks for all the info, starting to troubleshoot here is a pic of ours… does it look like a brand someone has? Would it be the Aqua Hot mixing valve, if we have Hot everywhere else? Also, we are on our way back to Oregon currently in Rawlins Wy population 8,000 next stop is Coalville Ut close to Park City think there could be better resources there…
  18. Ok pretty sure that is it… of course we tested all the faucets for hot water thru Aqua Hot and thought we were all good to go didn’t eventhink about running shower☹️. Is the mixing valve behind the plate where the handle is? Thanks
  19. Don, thanks for the suggestion…this rig has had very little use been sitting most of the 13 years and probably 0 showers in at least six years….we are not overly good plumbers is there anyway to be sure… We did notice cold has lots of pressure, hot not so much…
  20. Boy, we had a great day moving into our new rig then… Good news plenty of hot water from Aqua Hot! Bad news hot at all faucets, but no hot in shower 🤔 Checked manifold it’s on, but we have no idea why no hot in shower? if this has happened to anyone we would really appreciate where to look next, or we are going to get pretty stinky😂
