  1. I have a 2007 HR Endeavor. The Voyager display screen for the ALLADIN SYSTEM and rear view cameras is located in such a way that it's blocked by the steering wheel when I'm in my driving position. Does anyone have a solution for this? Possibly a separate repeater screen that could be mounted up higher where I could glance at it and still keep my eyes pretty much on the road. Also are there any suggestions for a hands free cell phone solution. Apparently the MAGNADYNE dash radio (which is also poorly located) is not blue tooth capable. Thanks Tim
  2. So far so good. However, we have only driven it a few hundred miles from the dealer to home, and only camped in it for the first night. Then had to store it for the winter. We traded in our Newmar Canyon Star, V10 gasser for this HR Endeavor with the ISL 400 and 6 speed. Even though the Newmar was newer, the HR on 8 airbags, rides and drives far better. It’s quieter, smoother, way more power. We will be leaving on or first long trip in a few weeks. I’m really looking forward this trip. You’ll like the Newmar, enjoy ! Tim
  3. Simplysmn I have the Cummins ISL400 8.9l Rick A, Thanks for the link to your checklist. It's exactly what I was looking for.
  4. Thanks Tom - I quess what I'm looking for is a Pre-start up, then after start pre-drive type checklist. Do you do an air brake test procedure etc.
  5. Last November we traded in our 2014 Newmar gas coach for a 2007 Holiday Rambler Endeavor and then we had to put it in storage right away before we had a chance to use it. So now I'm trying to learn as much as I can about DP's before this spring. This forum has been very helpful so far, but I am having trouble finding a detailed pre flight checklist. Does anyone on here know of such a thing? I do have a checklist that I used with our previous gas coach. It has the usual generic items that would pertain to most every RV. What I'm looking for is a more detailed DP checklist. These things are far more complex than a simple gas coach. I've learned a lot just by reading forums and watching you tube, but I'm sure there is much more that I need to know before heading out. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
  6. I really hate to ask this dumb question, but how else am I going to learn. We purchased our 2007 HR Endeavor in Nov 2022, just in time to winterize and store it. It's still covered and it's too cold to go out and work on it. So, I'm trying to learn as much as possible prior to using it this coming season. So here is my question (one of many). What is the vent or air intake that is located about 3 feet above the left tail light?
  7. Man those were quick replies!! thanks guys. You all confirmed exactly what I was thinking as far as leaving jacks extended for long term storage. Good to know that having the coach sit on deflated air bags will not do any harm to the bags. Thanks again.
  8. Sorry if this has been asked and answered elsewhere, but I searched and couldn't find it. What is the proper way to store my coach for the winter. Since the air bags deflate over time, is it harmful to the bags to allow the coach to sit on the deflated bags, or should I have supported the coach up on it's jacks? Seems to me that the jacks would gradually loose pressure and retract.
