  1. Thanks Tom! I talked to John B at RV Masters in Houston. High level of confidence that they can fix me up. Now to get it towed there, on a flat bed! John gave me a number, and I'm waiting for a response to my VM. Getting closer! A.
  2. Been though it a couple times with the Valid guys. There is a hard fault in the rear leveling manifold. Ideally, we would replace that and everything would come back online...."Ideally" My wife, (former Air Force F-16 and A-10 technician) suspects a deeper dive will be needed, and I agree. Ground Fault maybe, dead short maybe...general electrical FUBAR is more likely the case along with the manifold failure.
  3. All. I've been through the site before relative to my leveling system. I've ordered a new manifold from Valid, and it has arrived. My largest challenge has been to locate a mobile repair outfit to work on it "in place." No one wants to touch it and they all want it in their shop. Ok. That's fine. Now....since no leveling works at this point, it has become painfully apparent that I need to have the unit towed to a shop. I'm South of Houston, near Wharton Texas, but am prepared to tow to Victoria, San Antonio, Austin, or ideally Houston metro to repair. It will require loading the Coach onto ta flatbed, to move, as the clearance is very low, (significant high centering loading challenges) as you all know with no air. That being said.... 1.) I've given up on the mobile repair 2.) Looking for a reputable shop in any above the above listed metros for this work. 2.) Looking for a trucking company that would have the capability to get the Coach up onto a lowboy with its low clearance issue. (I do have a half dozen calls out for the trucking part, but am still waiting) Appreciate in advance any thoughts or ideas here folks. Thanks Andy.
  4. Hey folks.... Here I am again looking for mobile techs in the Houston area. Air system needs a hard look, mechanically and electrically. I need to move the Coach to another location in the next +/- 60 days. Not an emergency, all other systems are go, but I cannot drive it. Working with Valid to get a new solenoid for the rear leveling control, so I can have that on hand. I've tried all the websites I can find, and am failing. Please help Thanks: Andy
  5. UPDATE on air system. Tanks still charging, but no air getting to leveling system. Showing the fault on the RR. Spoke with the guy at Valid, and without air, we couldn't reset anything. Had a heavy equipment mechanic look into it and there was an extremely hot solenoid in the rear controller. I have been able to contact a mobile repair shop in Katy TX, and am coordinating a visit for later this month. More to follow
  6. Hey folks. Anyone have any contacts in Houston, Austin or San Antonio for solid Mobile tech service? Specifically air systems repair. Thanks Andy S
  7. UPDATE Stairs are operational! Plug to the motor was a little loose! That is all! One down more to go
  8. UPDATE Had a guy come out that's very familiar with air systems. The actuator rods worked in both directions. No air release could be heard from any of the bags. When I idle up, air is not heard escaping from anywhere. The bleed valves front and back are both pushing air out. I showed him the Valve manifolds in the "book" and he said he did not see them. Fixing to slide under and attempt to locate them. Frustrating, but solvable. Just a pain in the butt. Thanks everyone, more to follow.
  9. When it rains, it pours. Fired up the Coach, and lo and behold the front AND rear air tanks are not filling. I have a sneaking suspicion that this has to do with the fault I'm getting at passenger rear on my leveling keypad. The front gauge just sits at zero, the rear toggles from max to minimum. I'm at a complete loss here, and also not super mechanically inclined. Anybody know a shop or tech in the South Texas area? Thanks Andy S.
  10. Morning everyone! Among other issues with my 07 Monaco signature, I have this one. Showing a fault on my leveling system, passenger rear. Working on getting ahold of someone at power gear or valid to do a hard reset. Any thoughts here folks? Thanks Andy
  11. Getting under the coach to really get a look is a challenge, but I will. Planning on the unplug-plug operation in the early am hen it's not 108 down here south of Houston. I know red is never the color of a ground wire, but the gauge is so small, I was thinking it might have something to do with the magnet. (from a post above). More to follow. THANK YOU everyone for the help. Best website EVER!! I have more issues, so I'm not done with you!!!😀 What I REALLY NEED, is a mobile tech from Houston, San Antonio or Austin....Anyone got a lead for me?...Please and Thank you Andy FYI, Mine is a SCS/Frigette step
  12. It's red tony but not 10 gauge for sure. I probably misspoke. Maybe magnet ground connection?
  13. ok...got underneath, and noticed this loose wire. (just about dead center of photo) very small gauge. I'm thinking ground wire but haven't identified an attachment point yet. Thoughts?
  14. Entry steps will not retract on the Coach. Checked the 20amp fuse in the rear - Good Checked the 5 amp fuse for the switch on the dash panel - Good Ran a magnet along door jam, specifically at the bottom left AND on the door itself. Nothing is getting it done. Thoughts?
  15. d*** guys!!! Thanks so much! More to follow! Most concerned at this point re: the leveling system fault
  16. Thanks for the response!!! 1.) Air Leveling only 2.) Roof appears to be "de-laminating" for lack of a better term. It does need to be looked at and assessed, would be great if no replacement required.! 3.) Ice machine is in the Fridge/Freezer. 4.) Had one guy look at the dishwasher, it appears to be to discharge pump, but need a pro to look and confirm.
  17. 2007 Monaco Sig., has several issues: 1.) Leveling fault rr (fault light coming on, Coach will not level) (2.) Probable roof replacement (3.) Ice machine and Dishwasher service or replacement required. Would appreciate any references for mobile service first, as we need two new from tires and leveling fault addressed before driving to service center. Thanks Andy S.
