Have you contacted BlueFire?   They have been supportive to me, but thru a forum at that time, no over the phone.

I've posted on their forum plus sent a PM to I believe the owner but haven't got a response so I'm hoping one of the many people out there in the web world can figure out an answer to the problem.

@deputylynch Is the leak at the stem?  Are you replacing the valve?  Curious because I have a small occasional leak at the stem.

Yes the leak was at the stem of the valve. When I played with and jiggled it, I would hear it increase and decrease. I replaced the whole valve along with the electric switch since they're also commonly known to go bad at the same time.

I bought a cheap one off of Amazon for like $18 but the switch ended up costing me $72 with shipping!

I think I misread your original post, and I apologize.

Originally,  BlueFire was not written to supplier Fire OS.  I thought you were using an example of an external GPS working on Fire to suggest that BlueFire could work also.  After checking the BlueFire website, I found that indeed BlueFire does have an App that will work on Fire OS 6 and higher, but you have to side-load it or be able to download from the Google Play Store.  This is a change from the "BlueFire for Motorhomes" to the "BlueFire Apps".  I'm guessing you already knew this.

So, I think your question has to do with adding an external GPS "puck" to your Fire tablet in addition running BlueFire.  I don't know the answer.  But,  in the past, BlueFire support was good, and they might be able to tell you.  I suspect that it would be difficult to connect both simultaneously via Bluetooth,  but in the old days, I ran a GPS "puck" via USB.  I don't know if you have that capability.

I already checked, they can both be ran simultaneously without a problem but the BlueFire app will not pull over the information from the GPS unit.

Yes, I do use BlueFire.  I don't think it allows for tracking.  It gets its speed and distance from the engine ECU.  If the data isn't on the ECU or the transmission TCU, it is not displayed by BlueFire.   This is not to say that you couldn't have an independent application also running on the tablet/laptop with GPS data (requires a GPS).  That secondary application may be able to import data from the BlueFire for use within that application, but that would all be independent of the BlueFire Application.

So you don't use or are not aware of the features in the attached picture?

  5. It should be a simple fix. The Amazon devices absolutely can use an external GPS unit perfectly fine to navigate and track since I can use it without any problem on Waze, Google Maps and my airplane navigation programs. I would think he would open up a whole another market since there are a lot of people that have Amazon tablets, and even if they don't, one can be bought for a lot less than an Apple iPad.

  6. Is anybody using a BlueFire adapter with a Fire Tablet?
I don't understand why the app can't be integrated to use on a Fire Tablet with an external GPS adapter?
I use numerous other applications, including Avare to fly a plane with, that will allow me to use an external GPS unit without any problems; so this app ought to be easily able to do the same?
If the interface will allow the tablet to see a GPS signal I don't understand why their application can't pick it up also?

  7. Any suggestions on how to put a specialized outlet in since a shallow box isn't deep enough?

The outlet is 1.5"deep, not taking into consideration the wires.

I've attempted to use a specialized old work shallow box but it won't fit in the wall since there's a metal backing plate inside and a normal shallow box is only 1.25" deep.

I know I can use a surface mount type box or extension but I want to keep it flush and looking original.

I dump all my air as soon as I park, just before I put the jacks down.  Doing it this way drops the bus 4-5" inches, which allows me to do stupid stuff like drive off with the jacks down like I did the other day after airing up.

Yes, I know, figuring out why my jacks down and low air alarms don't work is on my list. I suspect a previous owner disconnected them, or smashed them with a hammer.

Having the steps down allows allows the dogs to get in and out easier.

For more of a camping situation I absolutely agree with putting the jacks down but when it's just parked somewhere like my driveway or for storage I don't like coming and seeing it's sitting that low.

It takes a couple days for it to bleed down??  I'd say you need to find a better way to use your time.  The DOT spec for a semi tractor by itself is less than 4psi/minute, 8psi/minute if the trailer is connected.

That said, without getting neurotic about it, doing as David says at each leaking fitting isn't bad practice, because over time each one of those fitting will eventually cut the line and blow it out of the fitting.  Industrial equipment that cycles 100s of times an hour or minute blow lines off on a regular basis after they've been running a few months.  Usually ends in replacing the fitting, because the end of the line is stuck in the bottom of the hole.

Go after the leaks you can hear first, then work down the list to the ones that just foam up a bit.

I don't like the fact that the front of my coach and steps are on just about on the ground after about 2 days!

  11. I know this topic's pretty old but can somebody please look at my pictures and tell me if they think the leak that I have on this fitting is enough to draw down my system after about 2 days? Also what type of fitting is this, is it a push into connect and I can just push on the top to release it or is it something else?

  12. I'm sorry to ask what might be a stupid question and hope I'm just missing a switch somewhere but shouldn't there be some type of interior lights when I open the door to my Diplomat? It's totally dark upon entry until you find a switch to turn on the overhead lights. I've read the owner's manual and can't find anything about it even looked at wiring diagrams and can't figure it out.

  13. Has anybody else ran into trying to remove the solar panel off of a Monaco Diplomat. I removed the four bolts that are attached to the angle brackets and the panel will not lift. When trying to look underneath, it appears that there is a junction box that is glued to the roof and I'm afraid the junction box may have been screwed down and then the panel glued to the panel box so I'm afraid to pry up on it. I want to get into that junction box wiring so I can add two additional 100 watt panels.
