  1. This is part of the advantage of traveling this wonderful country in a RV. We get to see and enjoy God's creations first hand. Through that huge picture window, we use to call it wind shield, we enjoy what so many take for granted. When I commuted to work, driving fast was just a way to save time, now, driving is an adventure and I can hardly wait to round the next curve. Maybe that is why there are very few strangers in RV parks and big smiles. Safe travels to all.

  2. You may have a problem with loosing your neutral on 50 amp. Could be in a park where you plugged in or could be in your house wiring. I would check the inverter and the transfer switch for loose connections. I had a loose neutral in the transfer switch which took out the microwave and both TVs, and the inverter/charger. I was fortunate to have the computer equipment plugged in to surge protector that saved the computer. I now have a Progressive surge unit installed.

  3. I do not recall, they are in the RV, about 20 miles from home. I just took the slotted pin into the store and bought a package of them. I also bought a set of punches at Harbor Freight and keep them with the roll pins. I bought several different lengths as the same diameter is used in different spots.

  4. Our 2000 Diplomat, with two slides, use to have same problem. I discovered there is a big difference in shear pins. The ones I purchased at Ace Hardware  would fail over time. I purchased some at Fastenal, problem solved. Also, annual cleaning and lubrication helps.

  5. Most RV parts stores carry the thermostat kits. There are two, one for the gas and one for the electric. They look alike, but are different. The gas runs on 12 volt, the electric is 120 volt. I have replaced both in our heater at different times.

  6. Been using dolly for seven years after Ford notified us to not flat tow Fusion. Dolly has electric brakes and it is simple to load and unload car. Worst is loading or unloading in rain. It's a bit of a hassle to manually park dolly in some parks, but better than paying to replace transmissions. Wife loves her car, happy wife, happy life. Master Tow dolly.
