  1. I have identified only two mobile Aqua Hot services in the RGV, A-1 Mobile and Jack’s RV. Has anyone had reason to use either of these? Do you have recommendations?
  2. Yes, this is it I believe. I am missing all of the plastic mould attached to the end cable. Thanks for the direction. I’ll order one when settled. Just for your info I believe I added too much oil. The gen works great but there is a tube which extends from below that oil blows out, guessing when too much is added. Luckily there wasn’t a whole bunch and it blended well with the years of drips from past cars, sorry “Wally”. JimB2
  3. So we are headed to Texas and parked in a Wal Mart Campground in Louisburg. I tried starting the generator and it runs for a few seconds then stops. On investigation it appears I am low oil. The strange thing is my dip stick is missing everything but a plastic knob on the end. Could some kind soul tell me the measurement from the tip back to the “add 1qt” mark and to the “Full” mark? The generators probably use the same dip sticks however for the record mine is model HDKAJ, 7500 watts from a 2004 Windsor. Thank you for your time. JimB2
  4. My Aqua Hot system has failed when trying to run on diesel and I am at the end of a short list of what I can do to repair. Facts and Observations: Model AHE-100 - 03S Fuel Nozzle just replaced, combustion chamber cleaned, electrodes checked, fuel filter bowl looks good There was fuel behind old fuel nozzle when removed, tank shows 3/4 full Heater unit mounted on 2004 Windsor Electronic Controller (when not calling for any operation) has green light on “ Low Temp Cutoff Fault” System selected for furnace heating operation in RV When calling for Diesel heat source the Electronic Controller has Green lights on the following: Low Temp Cutoff Status, Diesel Burner Status, Pump #2 and Heating Status When Diesel selected as heat source the blower starts up but no ignition occurs and green lamp on Diesel switch times out. Blower continues running for a few minutes then shuts off When electric heat source selected the controller shows green lights on Electric Heating Element Status and on Heating Status No Red alarm lights ever show up on Electronic Controller. Has anyone run into similar problems? Unit wasn’t running so I went ahead and changed out the fuel nozzle. My rig is parked for the winter (first time) and my nearest authorized Aqua Hot service tech is 90 miles away. I won’t be moving the rig again before next Spring. So I’m hoping I have missed something in figuring this out (won’t be the first time!) JimB2 2004 Windsor
  5. Yep we are Chuck. Part of the ice machine was damaged and was hanging down preventing full opening of the freezer door. Now I could have removed the door I’m sure but the ice machine was useless in there (no water run to fridge) so being “efficient” lol, I just reached in and cut the cable, ice machine fell, door opened, problem solved, NOT. Had I restarted the fridge at this point I could have repaired the cut cable but, noooo, I had to toss it in the garbage, yep, worst enemy. I do keep my fridge in the backyard, don’t use it much in the summer (snowbird) but I keep it coverEd with my RV to keep the rain off it lol. I bit the bullet and ordered a new ice maker module, I’ll attach it to the freezer ceiling without the rest of the assembly and move on; another $175 lesson haha. JimB2
  6. Yes, I had considered that but unfortunately the original part which I cut off to be able to open/close the freezer has been tossed out (over a month ago). I will look for a replacement wire harness as my first attempt to get things running again. Thanks for your response. JimB2 Yes, the first error code is the one showing. The error codes I found were all numbers and letters, thanks for pointing these ones out. I still have the plugin harness, if I had an electrical drawing for the ice makers I could possibly figure out how to “McGyver” the system so it thinks all is well. Thanks for the info.
  7. I need a little help here guys & gals.... My fridge display only shows two parts of the first digit of the temperature, nothing else lights up!- I had the fridge shut off (by breaker supply) for two months while stored in the backyard- during that time I “cut” the cable to the ice maker, it was never used and was damaged causing it to hang down into the freezer tray.- I needed the extra fridge storage so I turned it back on then opened the door to verify. The lights are all on and the compressor was running, the temperature was falling. Everything was acting normal but without any control display.- Trying to activate anything using the display buttons did not “appear” to have any effect.- I turned it off as I thought it might not regulate and just freeze up the back wall (has happened years ago but not The display’s fault).- I have now physically unplugged the remaining ice maker wiring. There was no change to display after a power reboot.Sooooo, any suggestions? Does anyone possibly have an electrical wiring diagram for this fridge? I have a parts exploded view diagram with part numbers. I am hoping I can access the controls from the top, not much clearance up there. oh boy.... JimB2
  8. Everything in picture was located behind water hose reel. The 5amp fuse was blown as I expected. jimb2
  9. Found it, fixed it! thanks all for the guidance 🙂 jimb2 2004 Windsor
  10. I didn’t see any latching relays behind the panel (that’s where my trouble originated). There is a square, flat box beside the pump but it only has two wires going to it with several going into the pump so this isn’t it. I am thinking the latching relay will be similar in size to an 87 Relay, correct?
  11. So, in the 2004 Windsor 40PST there are 5 locations where the pump can be “turned on”. One of these places is above the passenger seat. I was working in there replacing a burnt bulb switch for Bay Heating when I inadvertently shorted out the supply to the water pump switch. I found two fuses for the water pump. There is one in the fuse panel located in the bedroom and one inline just before the pump, both fuses are OK. I think I may have shorted the circuit to the latching relay that controls the pump. Question 1: where is this latching relay located? Question 2: I have over 30 pages of electrical drawing for this rig but none show the water pump controls, can someone help me out with this? Question 3: Does anyone have a plumbing layout drawing for this rig? I am parked in Florida for another 6 weeks before I’ll require the use of this pump again. JimB2 2004 Windsor 40PST
